Cornelius Dixon (born April 7, 1984) is a former American football offensive lineman. He played football at Marianna High School in Marianna, Florida; upon graduation, he enrolled at Missouri Valley College (where he continued playing football). While at MVC, Dixon was honored as a First Team All-Conference offensive lineman.

In December 2010, Dixon signed with the Kansas City Command of the Arena Football League. [1] He saw plenty of playing time as a rookie; all told, Dixon played in thirty regular season games (of thirty-six total) during his two-year stint with the Command. However, the Command struggled both on the field and at the gate during Dixon's time there. When the team folded in 2012, Dixon joined the defending AFL Champion Arizona Rattlers. [2] His stint in Arizona, in many regards, mirrored his time in Kansas City; all told, Dixon again appeared in thirty regular season games over two seasons. [3] The Rattlers, however, were in the midst of a dynasty when Dixon joined. In both of his seasons there (2013 and 2014, Arizona won the ArenaBowl.

In March 2015, Dixon was traded to the AFL's New Orleans Voodoo. [4] After appearing in twelve games for New Orleans, Dixon was again traded; this time, his destination was the San Jose SaberCats. [5] Dixon played a significant role in the SaberCats' 2015 playoff run. The SaberCats would eventually advance to (and win) ArenaBowl XXVIII; with the win, Dixon became one of only a handful of players to win three consecutive AFL championships.

On March 19, 2016, Dixon was assigned to the Los Angeles KISS. On June 15, 2016, Dixon was traded to the Tampa Bay Storm for claim order position. On June 21, 2016, the Storm activated Dixon. [6]

Clifford Dukes is a former American arena football defensive lineman. He played college football at Michigan State from 2000 to 2004. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2005. Dukes has also been a member of the New Orleans Saints. After not having a chance to play in the NFL, Dukes signed with the Tampa Bay Storm of the AFL in 2008. In 2010, he saw his first chance for real playing time with the Storm. As a result, he was named to the All-Arena team in 2010. In 2011, he led the league with 12.5 sacks and was named the 2011 Game Tape Exchange Defensive Lineman of the Year. He was traded to the Kansas City Command in 2012, only to be traded to the Arizona Rattlers two days later.

The Jacksonville Sharks, in their second year of existence, defeated the Arizona Rattlers 73–70 in ArenaBowl XXIV on August 12, 2011 to conclude the playoffs.

Jeff Maddux is a former American football offensive lineman. He played football at Monroe High School in Monroe, Michigan; following his graduation, he attended Central Michigan University from 2006 to 2010. Maddux saw ample playing time during his tenure at Central Michigan; over four seasons with the Chippewas, he started some 47 games as an offensive guard.

Kimani Jones is a former American football offensive lineman. Prior to his Arena Football career, he played football at Arkansas State University; as a senior, Jones earned First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors.

Damien Borel is a former American football defensive lineman. He attended Woodland High School and Butte College. In 2012, while at Butte, he tallied 69 tackles and 19 sacks. Borel's 19 sacks led all California Community College Athletic Association players in 2012.

Chris McAllister is an American football defensive end for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He attended Judson High School in Converse, Texas; upon graduating in 2009, he played football at Baylor University. During his time at Baylor, McAllister recorded a total of 15.0 sacks; this left him tied for the record of most career sacks in Baylor history. He led the team in sacks in 2012 and 2013.

Cedric Walker is a former American football defensive back and coach who is currently the head coach and defensive coordinator of the Billings Outlaws of the Arena Football League (AFL). Walker played football at Stephen F. Austin University; once his stint there concluded, he signed with the AFL's Charlotte Rage. Walker played for a succession of AFL teams over his ten-season career; these included the Orlando Predators, Arizona Rattlers, Indiana Firebirds, Chicago Rush, Austin Wranglers, and Las Vegas Gladiators. At the end of his AFL Career, Walker had amassed some 522 solo tackles ; this was the league's seventh-highest total. Walker also won one ArenaBowl as a player; this came with the Arizona Rattlers in 1997.

Julius Gant is a former American football lineman who last played for the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League. Gant attended Maynard H. Jackson High School, where he excelled as an offensive lineman; following his departure from the school, he played football at Middle Tennessee State University. At Middle Tennessee State, Gant served primarily as a right tackle; in 2003, his best season, he started eleven games for the team.

The Arena Football Hall of Fame is the official Hall of Fame of the Arena Football League (AFL). The inaugural class was announced in 1998 and the Hall was not formally organized until 2011. Prior to 2011, there were four classes: 1998–2000 and then another in 2002. The Arena Football Hall of Fame is the highest honor for players, coaches, and contributors involved in the AFL. The voting process consists of fans and current Hall of Fame members voting on the finalists. The finalists are selected by the League Office in which they collect ballots from the Arena Football Hall of Fame Advisory Board, a group which consisted of former players, executives, journalists and media personnel with a long-time involvement in the league. The league began to decline in 2015, so no Hall of Fame announcements have been made since this year. The league folded for a second time in 2019. After the league's second closure, ArenaFan, a long-running fan site, announced it had taken over operations of the Arena Football Hall of Fame.

The 2016 Arena Football League season was the 29th season in the history of the Arena Football League. Prior to the start of the season, the league contracted to eight teams. The 16-game regular season then began on April 1, 2016 and ended on August 1, 2016. The league, however, kept its eight-team playoff format, which meant that every club qualified for the postseason.
