Crittenden, New York

Crittenden is a small hamlet in the town of Alden in Erie County, New York, United States. [1] In 1910 the Crittenden Creamery was located on Crittenden Road north of Genesee Street, Route 33. On January 31, 2011, the Crittenden Post Office 14038 was closed after 160 years of service. It was located at 3610 Crittenden Road. [2]

Cleveland Hill is a hamlet in the town of Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York, United States. It is the location of the Cleveland Hill School District. Cleveland Hill is often called Cleve Hill. The center of Cleveland Hill is located at Harlem Road and Cleveland Drive. Cleveland Hill is unique in that the Onondaga Escarpment runs through it with the elevation at Harlem Road and Cleveland Drive being 215 meters (705 ft). The elevation decreases as one heads north or south on Harlem Road. Only if one heads east towards the Buffalo Niagara International Airport does the elevation stay the same or increase slightly.

Lock Berlin is a hamlet in the Town of Galen, Wayne County, New York, United States. It is located four miles (6 km) west of the Village of Clyde and three miles (5 km) northeast of the hamlet of Lyons, at an elevation of 404 feet. The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Old Route 31, Stokes Road, Lock Berlin Road and Maple Street. N.Y. Route 31 passes just south of Lock Berlin.
