Dan Thompson (born June 15, 1956) is a Canadian retired swimmer. He competed in the butterfly events during the 1970s and early 1980s. He was supposed to represent his native country at the 1980 Summer Olympics, but didn't start due to the international boycott of the Moscow Olympic Games. He won two silver medals at the 1979 Pan American Games.
Donald Graham Smith is a Canadian former competition swimmer who won a silver medal in the men's 4x100-metre medley relay at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. He did so alongside teammates Stephen Pickell, Clay Evans and Gary MacDonald. His brother George and sister Becky also competed in swimming.
Thomas Harold Ponting is a Canadian former competitive swimmer who specialized in the butterfly stroke. Ponting competed in three consecutive Summer Olympics for Canada starting with the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California. At every occasion he won a medal with the men's 4 × 100 m medley relay team: two silver and one bronze.

Curtis Allen Myden is a former breaststroke and medley swimmer from Canada, who competed at three consecutive Summer Olympics in 1992, 1996 and 2000. He won a total number of three medals at the Olympics, all of them bronze. Myden was one of Canada's leading swimmers in the 1990s. He was coached by Canadian coach Deryk Snelling.
Mark Andreas Cornelis Versfeld is a Canadian former competitive swimmer and backstroke specialist. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, he finished in 26th position in the 100 m backstroke. He won the same event and the 200 m backstroke two years earlier, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. At the 1998 Aquatic World Championships he won a silver in the 100-metre backstroke, and bronze in the 200-metre backstroke, breaking a Commonwealth record in the process. He was named Canadian Male Aquatic Athlete of the Year in 1998.
Mark Johnston is a former freestyle swimmer from Canada, who competed at two consecutive Summer Olympic Games, in Sydney, Australia in 2000 and Athens, Greece in 2004. Johnston's consecutive 10-year run on the Canadian national team was longer than any other current swimmer at the time. Born and raised in St. Catharines, he was named to the national team in 1996 while swimming for Swim Brock Niagara. He went on to win numerous medals on the world stage throughout his career representing Canada at two Commonwealth Games, five World Championships, the Pan-American Games, three Pan-Pacific Aquatic Championships, and several other major international competitions. He is a 14-time national champion, world championship bronze medallist and his best Olympic result was fifth in the men's 4x200-metre freestyle relay in Athens, Greece. He currently works for RBC as the regional manager of investment and retirement planning and volunteers as an aquatics head coach for BC School Sports.
Peter Szmidt was a Canadian swimmer, competing in the freestyle events during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Peter A. Salmon was a competitive backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle swimmer from Canada. He represented Canada at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1948 in London. Salmon claimed the gold medal in the men's 100-metre freestyle event at the 1950 British Empire Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
James Gilmour Thompson was a Scottish-born Canadian freestyle swimmer who won a bronze medal in the 4×200-metre freestyle relay at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam; he also competed in the 400-metre and 1500-metre freestyle events, but failed to reach the finals. Two years later he won a gold medal in the 4×200-yard freestyle relay at the 1930 British Empire Games.

Ralph Hutton is a former competition swimmer who represented Canada in three consecutive Olympic Games in 1964, 1968 and 1972. Hutton won a silver medal in the 400-metre freestyle at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Hutton won a total of 24 medals in international competitions, including the Summer Olympics, Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games. He was inducted in the International Swimming Hall of Fame as an "Honor Swimmer" in 1984.
William Ray Kennedy is a Canadian former swimmer who competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics. He swam for Canada's third-place team in the preliminary heats of the men's 4x100-metre medley relay. He was ineligible to receive a medal under the Olympic swimming rules then in effect, however, because he did not swim in the event final. He also competed in the preliminary heats of the men's 200-metre backstroke, but did not advance.
Toomas "Tom" Arusoo was a Canadian competition swimmer who swam for Canada in several international meets including the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City.
Stephen William Badger is a former competitive swimmer who represented Australia in the 1973 World Swimming Championships and the 1974 Commonwealth Games, and Canada in the 1976 Summer Olympics.
Alex Lim Keng Liat is a retired Malaysian swimmer. He was born in Sandakan, Sabah. He was awarded the National Sportsman of the Year and Olympian of the Year in 1998. In 2009, he was inducted into the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) Hall of Fame.
Robbie Taylor is a Canadian former swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle and backstroke events. He earned a silver medal, as a 17-year-old at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, and later represented Canada at the 2000 Summer Olympics. During his sporting career, Taylor trained for the Cobra Swim Club in Brampton, Ontario, under Bill O'Toole, swam for the Texas A&M Aggies swimming and diving team under head coach Mel Nash, and swam at the Canadian National Sport Centre under legendary coach Paul Bergen.
Patricia E. Thompson, later known by her married name Patty Bogumil, is a Canadian former freestyle swimmer. She was a member of the Canadian freestyle and medley teams that won a silver and a bronze medal at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. Thompson competed at the 1964 Olympics in the 400-metre freestyle and 4×100-metre freestyle relay events, and finished in seventh place in the relay.
George Burleigh (1914–1984) was a Canadian swimmer. He won gold at the Commonwealth Games in 1930 and 1934. and held Canadian freestyle swimming records in the 1930s.
