The seventh series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 29 April 2018 on Three, and was hosted by Dai Henwood and Sharyn Casey. [1] Camilla Sacre-Dallerup, Julz Tocker, and Rachel White are the series' judges; Sacre-Dullerup serves as the head judge. [2] Sam Hayes won the competition on 1 July 2018.

The show introduces New Zealand celebrities paired with professional ballroom dancers who each week compete against each other in a competition to impress a panel of judges and the viewing public in order to survive potential elimination. Through a telephone poll, viewers vote for those couples who should stay. The public vote and the average score given by the panel of judges equally go towards deciding who should leave. Proceeds from the voting go to the celebrity contestant's charity of choice.

Strictly Come Dancing returned for its sixth series on 20 September 2008 on BBC One. Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly returned as co-presenters of the main show on BBC One, while Claudia Winkleman returned to present the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on BBC Two. Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood, and Bruno Tonioli returned as judges.

Nico Archambault did not reprise his role as judge and was replaced by Patrick Dupond. Fauve Hautot also left the panel of the judges to return as a dancer and was replaced by the winner of Danse avec les stars, Shy'm. Jean-Marc Généreux and Chris Marques both returned as judges.

Dancing with the Stars returned for a third series on 6 January 2019 on RTÉ One for a twelve-week run.

The eighth series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 14 April 2019 on Three, and is hosted by Dai Henwood and Sharyn Casey. Camilla Sacre-Dallerup, Julz Tocker, and Rachel White all returned as the series' judges, with Sacre-Dullerup serving as head judge again. The full cast was announced on 4 April.

The twelfth season of Let's Dance started on March 15, 2019 and ended on June 14, 2019. Daniel Hartwich and Victoria Swarovski returned as hosts. Joachim Llambi, Motsi Mabuse, and Jorge Gonzalez also returned as the judges.

The tenth season of Danse avec les stars,, aired in September 2019 on TF1, and was hosted by Camille Combal and Karine Ferri.

Rachel White is a professional dancer. A two-time New Zealand Professional Latin Champion, White was the co-owner of JustDance studio in Los Angeles, and a judge on the television series Dancing With the Stars New Zealand.

The ninth series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 24 April 2022 on Three.
