Daniel "The Rock" Dawson (born 15 October 1977) is an Australian super welterweight kickboxer and boxer, fighting out of Perth, Western Australia.

Boxing career

Daniel Dawson has a boxing record of 40 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw. Dawson made history in 2013 when he won the World Boxing Foundation light middleweight title; becoming the first man in history to win world titles in Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing. [1]

Daniel Dawson made his professional boxing debut on 9 November 2002, defeating Michael Kilmurray by seventh-round technical knockout.

He captured his first title when he defeated Frank Marzano by seventh-round technical knockout for the West Australia light middleweight championship.

Kickboxing career

Daniel has had a very successful kickboxing career and has fought in cards from Australia, China, Thailand, Hawaii, New Zealand, United States Japan and has fought under a diverse range of styles including Muay Thai, K-1 and Shoot boxing. In his career as a Kick-boxer he has fought and beaten some of the Oceania region and Japan's as well as some of the world's best fighters picking up victories against the likes of John Wayne Parr, Sam Soliman, Taishin Kohiruimaki, Kenichi Ogata, Shane Chapman and Jordan Tai. Daniel was a former two time world champion, having held both the I.S.K.A. and World Muay Thai Association W.M.T.A belts, having defended them a total of seven times. He has also done well in tournaments being the back to back Judgement Day Oceania eight man tournament winner in 2001 and 2002. [2] In 2016 Dawson is reportedly returns to Muay Thai. [3] [4] On 14 October 2016 Dawson fought John Wayne Parr in Perth, Western Australia. [5] On 8 September 2018, he made his debut for ONE Championship, where he lost to Mustapha Haida in the third round at ONE Championship: Beyond the Horizon. [6] On 17 May 2019, Dawson defeated Brown Pinas by split decision at ONE Championship: Enter the Dragon in an alternate bout for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. [7]

Manson Howard Gibson is a retired American kickboxer and a 12-time world champion in kickboxing and Muay Thai. He was sometimes referred to as the "Thai Killer" or the "Black Bruce Lee". Pajonsuk is a Thai middleweight Muay Thai-kickboxer fighting out of Superpro Samui in Koh Samui, Thailand. He is a former Lumpinee Stadium and three-time world Muay Thai champion. As well as fighting in Muay Thai and kickboxing, Pajonsuk has also pursued an amateur boxing career, most recently participating in the 2008 Olympic Games representing Thailand.

Timothy Benjamin Thomas is a British Muay Thai kickboxer who competes in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. He came to prominence by winning the UKMF British Welterweight Muay Thai title early in his career before becoming the ISKA World Welterweight Muay Thai Champion in 2005. He lost this belt in 2008 after one successful title defence, but later became a world champion for the second time in Jersey against Michael Blood for the WRSA title. He won by TKO in the 5th round. He then regained the ISKA World title under Kun Khmer rules in 2011.

Jordan Watson is an English Muay Thai kickboxer who competes in the middleweight division. A powerful kicker, Watson began training in Muay Thai at six years old with Richard Smith at Bad Company, Leeds, UK and first came to prominence when he reached the final of the K-1 UK MAX Tournament 2007 Pain & Glory at nineteen. He won the ISKA World Super Welterweight Muay Thai Championship in 2010 and then found further recognition the following year by finishing as runner-up on The Challenger Muay Thai reality television show. He began fighting for Glory in 2012. He is the first ever and current Yokkao -70 kg champion.

Youssef Boughanem is a Moroccan-Belgian Muay Thai and kickboxer, who has held WKN super welterweight Muay Thai title. He is also a former Lumpinee Stadium, Rajadamnern Stadium and WBC Muay Thai World Middleweight Champion. Boughanem currently trains out of the Petchsaman Gym in Thailand.

Sasha Moisa is a Ukrainian Muay Thai and Lethwei fighter currently signed to ONE Championship and World Lethwei Championship. He is the current WMC Super welterweight World Champion in Muaythai and WLC Light Middleweight World Champion in Lethwei.
