Dashti (Persian : دشتي‎, also Romanized as Dashtī)^[1] is a village in Melkari Rural District, Vazineh District, Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 91, in 14 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Melkari Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Vazineh District, Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,185, in 2,841 families. The rural district has 53 villages.

Vazineh District is a district (bakhsh) in Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 31,369, in 5,343 families. The District has one city: Mirabad. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Gavork-e Nalin Rural District and Melkari Rural District.
