This article deals with Derry City Football Club records.
Derry compete in a number of major domestic competitions on an annual basis. Those include the League of Ireland, the FAI Cup and the League of Ireland Cup. They can also take part in the cross-border Setanta Sports Cup, on condition of qualification for the tournament based on performances in the three former competitions. Prior to 1973 the club's main domestic competitions were the Irish League and the IFA Cup.
Up until the end of the 2006 season, Derry had played a total of 691 League of Ireland games since joining in 1985. 306 of these games had been won (44.28%), 197 had been drawn (28.51%) and 188 had been lost (27.21%). In the process, 951 goals were scored (an average of 1.38 goals per game) and 651 were conceded (an average of 0.94 goals per game). With 993 points being accumulated over those League of Ireland years, Derry managed an average of 1.44 points per game.

Derry City Football Club is a professional association football club based in Derry, Northern Ireland. It plays in the League of Ireland Premier Division, the top tier of league football in the Republic of Ireland, and is the League of Ireland's only participant from Northern Ireland. The club's home ground is the Brandywell Stadium and the players wear red and white striped shirts from which its nickname, the Candystripes, derives. The 2006 League of Ireland Premier Division was the 22nd season of the League of Ireland Premier Division. The division was made up of 12 teams. Shelbourne were champions while Derry City finished as runners-up. However Shelbourne were subsequently demoted to the First Division and had to withdraw from the 2007–08 UEFA Champions League and 2007 Setanta Sports Cup because of their financial difficulties.
Felix Healy is a former Northern Ireland international footballer and singer who played for Coleraine and then became a football manager. He has also worked as a media pundit and is currently part of the management team at First Division club Finn Harps, taking on the role of Director of football alongside manager Peter Hutton.
Jimmy Kelly was an Irish footballer who played for, among others, Derry City, Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk. Kelly was one of the most prolific goalscorers ever to play in the (Northern) Irish League, scoring 748 goals in the league between 1928 and 1952. He also scored 12 goals during his time in the (Southern) League of Ireland and scored a further 193 in other competitions. Kelly was noted for having a powerful left footed shot.
