Dilpreet Singh Bajwa (born 26 January 2003) is an India-born cricketer. He plays for Canada as an allrounder. [1]
He was born at Gurdaspur,Punjab in India. [2] He completed his education at Guru Arjun Dev Senior Secondary School in Dhariwal. [2] His father,Harpreet Singh,was employed in the Agriculture Department,while his mother,Harleen Kaur,served as a government teacher. [3]
In 2020,he emigrated to Canada due to his failure to be selected by the state team. [4] In 2023 he played Global T20 Canada for Montreal Tigers. [3]
In September 2023,he earned his maiden call-up to the national team for the 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier. [5] He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut on 30 September 2023,for Canada against Bermuda. [6] In February 2024,he was named in ODI squad for the series against Nepal. [7] He made his One Day International (ODI) debut on 10 February 2024,against Nepal. [8]
In May 2024,He was named in Canada's squad for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. [9] [10]

The 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The first stage of the qualification pathway in the Americas region was the sub-regional qualifier,played in Argentina between 25 February and 4 March 2023. The top three teams in the sub-regional qualifier progressed to the Americas regional final,which was played in Bermuda between 30 September and 7 October 2023,where they were joined by Canada,who competed in the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A in Oman.
