Sophia Abena Boafoa Akuffo was the Chief Justice of Ghana from 19 June 2017 until 20 December 2019. She had been a Judge in the Supreme Court of Ghana since 1995.
A judicial commissioner is person appointed on a non-permanent basis to a judicial office. In some countries,such as Malaysia and Singapore,judicial commissioners have the powers of full judges. In other jurisdictions their powers are limited.

Tsatsu Tsikata is a Ghanaian academic and lawyer. He is also a former Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. He is a notable affiliate and legal counsel to the National Democratic Congress and regarded as one of the leading members of the political party.
Joe Ghartey is a Ghanaian lawyer,academic and politician. He is a former Attorney-General of Ghana (2006–2009),Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament (2013–2017) and Railways Development Minister (2017–2021). Joe Ghartey hails from Shama,in the Western Region of the Republic of Ghana.
Vincent Cyril Richard Arthur Charles (V.C.R.A.C.) Crabbe was a Ghanaian jurist and public servant. He was a judge of the Supreme Court of Ghana from 1970 to 1972 and from 1980 to 1982. Before his appointment on the court,he formed and headed a permanent electoral commission to conduct the 1969 Ghanaian Election. He chaired the Constituent Assembly of 1979 that deliberated over and presented a constitution for Ghana's Third Republic before his reappointment to the supreme court.
Julius Ansah is a Ghanaian judge who served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana from 2004 to 2020.
Nene Abayateye Ofoe Amegatcher is a Ghanaian lawyer,academic and judge. He served as a justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana from 3 October 2018 to 28 July 2023.
Gabriel Scott Pwamang is an active justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He was nominated in 2015 by president of Ghana John Mahama. Prior to his appointment to the bench,he was a private legal practitioner and the managing partner of Pwamang and Associates. He was a member of the People's National Convention once serving as the party's general secretary.

Joseph Kwame Kingsley-Nyinah was a Ghanaian judge who served as a justice of the Court of Appeal and also as the Electoral Commissioner for Ghana.
Samuel Kwame Adibu Asiedu is a Ghanaian judge. He is an active Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He has been on the bench in Ghana since 1996 and became a Supreme Court judge in 2022.
