The Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station is a run-of-river power plant on the Dnieper River in Kakhovka, Ukraine. Kakhovka is a port city located on the reservoir's southern bank. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation, irrigation and navigation. It is the 6th and the last dam in the Dnieper cascade. Mykolaiv Sea Commericial Port is one of the leading state enterprises in the transport sector of Ukraine for processing, exports, imports, and cabotage cargo, that provides transit transportation of various cargoes, both general and bulk. According to the Law of Ukraine "About seaports of Ukraine" functions of the Mikolaiv Seaport Authority are carried out by the Mikolaiv branch of the state enterprise of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
The Dnieper-Bug Sea Commercial Port is a seaport located on the left bank of the Bug estuary near the Rus' Spit, 10 miles south of the Mykolaiv Sea Commercial Port and 32 miles from the Black Sea.

The Port of Kiliya is a river port of the Ust-Danube Commercial Seaport. It is located on the 47-km section of the Kiliya estuary of the Danube River, in the city of Kiliya. The length of the berth front is 150 m, the depth of the berths is 4 m.
Yalta Sea Commercial Port is a commercial seaport in the city of Yalta, Ukraine, on the Black Sea coast of Crimea. The port is originally subordinated to the Black Sea Shipping Company, now Ukrmorrichflot. Yalta sea trade port carries out transportation and processing of cargoes, and serves passengers in sailing abroad and in small cabotage.

Zaporizhzhia River Port specializes in the processing of ore, coke, coal, scrap metal, hardware, fertilizers, clay, sand, ferroalloys, and bauxite. The port's cargo processing capacity is 6 million tons per year. Zaporizhzhia River Port accepts vessels of the river-sea type with a length of up to 180 m and a depth of up to 4 m. The port area is 39.7 hectares and includes 13 cargo berths with a total length of 2787.7 m, including two berths in the Port of Nikopol.
Nikopol River Port is an enterprise in the field of river transport. It is located on the Dnieper in Nikopol. The nearest ports are Zaporizhzhia River Port - 84 km up the Dnieper and Novokakhovka River Port which is 110 km down the Dnieper. Ever since the 19th century there was a pier in Nikopol. The Nikopol River Port was built in 1956 on the shores of the Kakhovka Reservoir. Since 1974, the Nikopol River Port has been a part of the Zaporizhzhia River Port. NRP specializes in freight and passenger transportation (ferrys) on the line "Nikopol" - "Kamyanka-Dniprovska." Bulk and general cargoes, generally, building materials are also processed here. The port is located 310 kilometers from the mouth of the Dnieper. Berths accept vessels such as "river-sea" variety.
