Dominic Grimm (born 14 January 1988 in Sydney) is an Australian national champion rower who in 2010 won a world championship in the coxed pair.
Grimm attended Sydney Boys High School [1] from 2000 to 2005 where he took up rowing. His senior rowing was done from the Sydney Rowing Club.
He was first selected to represent New South Wales in the youth eight competing for the Noel F Wilkinson Trophy at the Interstate Regatta within the 2008 Australian Rowing Championships. [2] In 2009 and 2010 he was selected in New South Wales senior men's eights who contested and both won the King's Cup at the annual Interstate Regatta. [3]
In Sydney Rowing Club colours contested Australian national titles on a number of occasions starting in 2008 where he contested the U23 men's coxless pair, coxless four and eight. He won a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport and in 2009 at the Australian Rowing Championships he stroked an eight contesting the U23 men's eight title; stroked a AIS pair contesting the Australian coxless pair title (they placed second); and stroked an AIS four to win the national coxless four championship title. Grimm was selected to Australian representative honours in 2010. He raced with South Australia's Bryn Coudraye at the World Rowing Cups II and III in Europe in a coxless pair finishing well outside of medal contention. At the second of those WRC's in Lucerne he and Coudraye had success in a Coxed pair with Toby Lister on the rudder. They won their event. [5] A month later at the World Rowing U23 Championships in Brest, Belarus he rowed in the Australian U23 men's coxless four with Will Lockwood, Nicholas Purnell and Joshua Dunkley-Smith and won the bronze medal. Later in 2010, in the southern summer and with another South Australian partner in Chris Morgan, Grimm took a coxed pair to the 2010 World Rowing Championships in Lake Karapiro, New Zealand. This time with David Webster steering from the bow, the pair won the gold and Grimm's sole World Championship title. 2010 was his first and last international rowing representative season. [5]
Grimm undertook a B.Business degree at the University of Technology Sydney. He worked for a time for Rowing New South Wales and began photographing regattas using drone technology. Since 2017 he has pursued a broader interest in aerial photography. [7]
Kate Elizabeth Slatter OAM is an Australian former rower, a sixteen time national champion, world champion and Olympic champion from Adelaide, South Australia. She is a three-time Olympian who in 1996 won Australia's first Olympic gold in women's rowing.
Megan Leanne Marcks, OAM is an Australian former national, Olympic and world champion rower. She is an Olympic and World Champion in the coxless pair who represented Australia at the Olympics in 1992 and 1996.
James Stewart Battersby is an Australian former national champion and Olympic level rower.
Robyn Grey-Gardner is an Australian former eight-time national champion, national representative, Olympic and Commonwealth Games medal winning rower. She won Australian championships in all three sweep-oared women's rowing events - the coxless pair, the coxless four and in the eight.
Kristina Larsen is an Australian former representative rower. She is a two-time World Champion, an Olympian and won ten Australian national championship titles in sweep-oared boats, often at stroke.
Paul Anthony Thompson MBE is an Australian elite level rowing coach and former rower. As a rower he was an Australian under-age champion, won a silver medal at the 1985 U23 World Championships and rowed in senior King's Cup eights for both South Australia and New South Wales. He has coached Australian and British crews to World Championship titles and Olympic medals including taking Kate Slatter and Megan Still to Australia's first women's Olympic rowing gold at Atlanta 1996. By 2012 he was Great Britain's head coach for women and lightweights and took British crews to three gold and two silver medals at London 2012. Since 2022 he has been Rowing Australia's High Performance Director.
Michael Wiseman is an Australian former lightweight rower, a world champion and national champion. He won a gold medal at the 1997 World Rowing Championships in Aiguebelette in the lightweight men's eight.
Blair Tunevitsch is an Australian former lightweight rower – a five time national champion and world champion. He won a gold medal at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled with the lightweight men's eight.
Alister Foot is an Australian world champion lightweight rower. He won a gold medal at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled in the lightweight men's eight.

Georgina Gotch is an Australian former national representative rower. She was a four-time national champion and a medallist at the 2018 World Rowing Championships.
Paul Francis Rowe was an Australian representative rower and elite level rowing coach. He was an eight-time Australian national champion in both sweep oared and sculling boats across both lightweight and open divisions. He was Australia's lightweight sculling representative at the 1975 World Rowing Championships. He coached scullers and crews to three Australia national title wins and to world championships and to Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
Hamish Parry is a former Australian representative lightweight rower. He was a nine-time national champion in both sculling and sweep-oared crews and has sculled at underage and senior world championships from 2013 to 2021.
Katrina Bateman is an Australian former representative rower. She is a ten time Australian national champion, winning four national titles in the single year of 2015 and rowing in successful Victorian Queen's Cup crews for six consecutive years from 2011-2016. She was twice a medallist at underage world championships and has won gold, silver and bronze medals at World Rowing Cups between 2013 and 2019.

John Keogh is an Australian elite performance rowing coach and a former national representative rower. As lightweight oarsman he was a dual national champion in 1991 and an Australian representative in the men's lightweight four at the 1991 and 1992 World Championships. He has been a high performance coach for British Rowing, then from 2010 to 2016 he led the women's programme at Rowing Canada. Since 2016 he has been the head women's coach at Rowing Australia.
