"Eins, Zwei, Polizei" (English: One, Two, Police) is a 1994 song recorded by Italian dance musician Mo-Do (a.k.a. Fabio Frittelli) and was released as the debut single from his first and only album, Was Ist Das? (1995). The song got its inspiration from "Der Kommissar" by Austrian singer Falco and "Da Da Da" by German band Trio, both released in the early 1980s. It was co-produced by Claudio Zennaro and Fulvio Zafret, and achieved great success in many European countries. "Eins, Zwei, Polizei" reached number-one in Austria, Germany and Italy. Giuseppe Capotondi directed the music video for the song. It has since been remixed and re-released several times. In 1995, it was remixed by DJ XTC of Chile. In 2000, it was re-released in a remix by Maurizio Ferrara, in 2008 with remixes by German DJ Blutonium Boy and Floorfilla, and in 2019 the song was reworked by Dutch-Turkish DJ Ummet Ozcan.
"Eins, Zwei, Polizei" was very successful on the charts in Europe, remaining Frittelli's biggest hit. It peaked at number-one in Austria, Germany and Italy, and was a number two hit in Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands. Additionally, the single entered the top 10 also in Finland (3), France (8), Spain (3), Sweden (9) and Switzerland (5), as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100, where it soared to number four in September 1994. In the United Kingdom, "Eins, Zwei, Polizei" reached number 81 in its first week at the UK Singles Chart, on 9 October 1994. [2] In Scotland, it peaked at number 76.
The single earned a gold record in both Austria and Germany, with a sale of 25,000 and 250,000 units.
The accompanying music video for "Eins, Zwei, Polizei" was directed by Giuseppe Capotondi, [3] an Italian director of feature films, music videos and commercials. It was A-listed on Germany's VIVA in September 1994, [4] and later published on YouTube in 2015. As of November 2023, the video had generated more than 50 million views. [5]

"Don't Stop (Wiggle Wiggle)" is a song by American hip-house duo the Outhere Brothers, released in 1994 as a single from their debut album, 1 Polish, 2 Biscuits & a Fish Sandwich (1994). The song topped the charts in the Republic of Ireland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Although the music video and radio edit of the song featured a remixed, clean version of the song, the original, explicit lyrics were featured on different versions of the track on the CD single.
"Twilight Zone" is a song by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance act 2 Unlimited, released in January 1992 via various labels as the second single from the act's debut studio album, Get Ready! (1992). The UK release of the single was the first 2 Unlimited single to include the vocals of Anita Doth, as they had not been featured on their breakthrough hit "Get Ready for This". However, Ray Slijngaard's rap verses were once again removed. The instrumental "Rave" version of the song sounds different from the original "Not Enough" version, with a more hi-NRG style with more bass and added cowbells.
"Living on My Own" is a song by British singer-songwriter Freddie Mercury, originally included on his first solo album, Mr. Bad Guy (1985). It was released as a single in September 1985 in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number 50. The July 1985 release in the United States had "She Blows Hot and Cold" as its B-side. Eight years later, in 1993, "Living on My Own" was remixed and re-released to widespread chart success. The song's lyrics reflect Mercury's longstanding admiration for Greta Garbo, whose quotations are featured prominently in the lyrics.
"Hero" is a song by Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias from his second English-language studio album Escape (2001). It was written by Iglesias, Paul Barry and Mark Taylor. Interscope Records released the song on 3 September 2001 to a positive critical and commercial reception. To the date the single has sold over 8 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best selling singles of all time.
"Martyr" is a song by English electronic band Depeche Mode. It was released as a non-album single to promote the band's eighth greatest hits compilation album, The Best of, Volume 1. The single was released on 30 October 2006 in three formats: CD single, CD maxi and DVD single. There was also a limited-edition double 12-inch single featuring four remixes of previous Depeche Mode tracks.
"Please Forgive Me" is a song by Canadian rock musician Bryan Adams. It was released in October 1993 by A&M as the only single and bonus track from his first greatest hits compilation album, So Far So Good (1993). The single reached number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. In the United Kingdom, it peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. It is his only Australian number-one single not written for a motion picture, and it also topped the charts of Belgium, Canada, France, Ireland, Norway, and Portugal.
"Sexy Eyes" is a song written by Annerley Gordon, Alfredo Larry Pignagnoli, Davide Riva and Paul Sears and performed by Danish singer Whigfield. It was released in March 1996 as the seventh and final single from her first album, Whigfield. It became Whigfield's first top-10 hit in Australia, becoming the 19th-highest-selling single for 1997.
"Boys (Summertime Love)" is a song by Italian singer Sabrina, released in May 1987 as the third single from her self-titled debut studio album (1987). The song topped the charts in France (where it became the first number-one single by an Italian singer since 1984) and Switzerland, while peaking within the top five in Austria, Belgium, Finland, West Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Sweden.
"Flying High" is a song by German musician known under the pseudonym of Captain Hollywood Project, released in November 1994 as the first single from his second album, Animals or Human (1995). A fast and strong Eurodance song, it achieved moderate success in several countries. A second CD maxi composed of two new remixes was launched in February 1995. Its music video was directed by Rainer Thieding. Ten years later, in 2005, a new remix of "Flying High" was released, reaching the Top 20 on European club charts.
"Life" (known as "Life (Everybody Needs Somebody to Love)" in the US) is a song by Trinidadian-German Eurodance artist Haddaway. Written and produced by Dee Dee Halligan (Tony Hendrik) and Junior Torello, the song was released on 30 July 1993 as the second single from Haddaway's debut album, The Album (1993), and the follow-up to his successful debut single, "What Is Love". The song peaked at number one in Finland, Israel, Spain and Sweden. And within the top 5 in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Switzerland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Life" reached the top spot. Another CD maxi were produced at the end of that year containing new remixes (one of them was made by Bass Bumpers). By March 1994, "Life" had sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.
"Anything" is a song recorded by German Eurodance group Culture Beat, released in December 1993 by Dance Pool as the third single from the group's second album, Serenity (1993). Written by Nosie Katzmann with Jay Supreme, Torsten Fenslau and Peter Zweie, the song was very successful on the charts in Europe. It reached the top 5 in at least nine countries, including Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. The song's music video was directed by Matt Broadley and filmed in London.
"Look Who's Talking!" is a song by Sweden-based musician and producer Dr. Alban, featuring vocals from Swedish singer Nana Hedin. It was released in February 1994 as the first single from his third studio album, Look Who's Talking (1994). Co-written by Alban with Denniz PoP, the song was co-produced by Kristian Lundin and reached number-one in Denmark and Finland. It became a top-10 in almost all other European countries, except France and the UK. The song entered the Eurochart Hot 100 on 12 March 1994 at number 61 and went on to peak at the second position four weeks later. In the US, it peaked at number 11 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. Its music video was directed by Jonathan Bate. A CD maxi containing four remixes was also released, particularly devoted to the dance floors.
"U Got 2 Let the Music" is a song by Italian Eurodance group Cappella, released in 1993 as the fourth single from their second studio album, U Got 2 Know (1994). The track samples "Sounds Like a Melody" by German musical group Alphaville and charted in various countries around the world, including the UK, where it reached number two on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the 36th-best-selling single of 1993 in the UK. In Germany, the song became 1993's biggest selling record. In Austria, Finland and Switzerland, it peaked at number one. Its accompanying music video received heavy rotation on MTV Europe in January 1994. "U Got 2 Let the Music" was re-released in 1998, 2004 and 2006, in remixed versions.
Fabio Frittelli, better known by his pseudonym Mo-Do, was an Italian musician. Mo-Do appeared in the 1990s as an Italian electronic music act. Although Mo-Do was Italian, his songs were in German.
"Lick It" is a song recorded by American dance music group 20 Fingers featuring singer Roula, released in February 1995 as the second single from their debut album, On the Attack and More (1994). It also appears on 20 Fingers' self-titled second studio album and peaked at number-one in Italy. The song contains explicit lyrics that refer to cunnilingus. A black-and-white music video was also produced to promote the single.
"It's a Rainy Day" is a song by British, Italy based Eurodance artist Ice MC, released in August 1994 as the third single from his third album, Ice'n'Green (1994), on which it appears in two versions, and his eleventh single overall. Written and produced by Robyx, it features vocals by Italian singer Alexia. It became the most successful single of the album, reaching number-one in Italy and number two in both Belgium and Spain. The single was also released with new remixes for the Christmas holidays. Giacomo de Simone directed its accompanying music video.
"Land of Dreaming" is a song recorded by German band Masterboy. It was the third single from their album, Generation of Love. The song was released in January 1996 and features female vocals performed by Trixi Delgado. Several remixes were produced for the various formats, two of them were mixed by Italian Eurodance act Cappella. The song was a big success in Latín American countries Like Chile and México, but in Europe was unable to duplicate the same performances than Masterboy's previous hit singles. It reached its highest peak position in Germany where it was number 12 and charted for 17 weeks. It was also a top-20 hit in Switzerland, Finland and the Netherlands. In France, the song was ranked for ten weeks in the French top-50 Singles Chart and reached number 22. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Land of Dreaming" peaked at number 42. In 2006, it was re-recorded in a remixed version with Freedom Williams and Linda Rocco in featuring and this version is included on Masterboy's 2006 studio album, US-Album.
"Dreams (Will Come Alive)" is a song by Dutch Eurodance group 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor featuring D-Rock and Des'Ray. It was released by Lowland Records in June 1994 as the fourth single from the group's debut album, Dreams (1994), and is their most commercially successful single. Peaking at number-one in the Netherlands, the song was also used in the Dutch movies Flodder 3 and New Kids Nitro and in the Italian film Happy as Lazzaro.
"Super Gut" is a 1994 single recorded by Italian dance act Mo-Do. It was released as the second single from their 1995 album, Was Ist Das?. The song reached number 1 in Finland and was a notable hit in many European countries like Austria, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Super Gut" peaked at number 19. It was released via various labels: Plastika, ZYX Music, Hit Plus, Scorpio Music.
"Inside Your Dreams" is a song recorded by German act U96, released in 1994 by various labels as a non-album track. It was a major hit on the charts in Europe, peaking at number-one in Finland.
