History
Eisenhower High School is named after Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower, who was the 34th President of the United States and supreme military commander of Allied forces in the European Theater during World War II.
Eisenhower High School opened in September 1962 housing 700 students in a building containing 48 rooms. In May 1964, an auditorium was completed; and in 1965, the northwest wing was completed, providing the school with an additional 45 rooms and housing a total of 1,900 students. In the 2003–2004 school year, EHS had 1,380 students and 112 faculty. Its library contains approximately 16,000 volumes, not including textbooks.
In 2006, construction began on a new wing that housed thirty classrooms, and in 2007, the courtyard was closed and a new cafeteria was built. The staff as of today locks all doors to the courtyard unless lunch is in session. As of the 2007–2008 school year, Eisenhower (commonly referred to by both its own students and the students of rival schools as IKE) has a student body of approximately 1400 students, a number that has increased greatly from the usual average of 1,100 due to freshmen being incorporated into the student body.
Athletics
Eisenhower High School is well known for its excellence in sports. Most notably, the Eagles were 5A State and National Champions in football in 1990 as well as several other teams over the last 25 years. Many IKE athletes move on to play with many Big 12 Conference teams, such as Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma, University of Texas, and other smaller nationwide colleges and within the state of Oklahoma.
In 2007, Eisenhower Eagles men's basketball team were 6A State Finalist with a record of 24-3 under Head Coach Bruce Harrington and Assistant Coaches Brad Cooksey and Michael Parks. Additionally within 2007, the Eisenhower Eagles Varsity men's bowling team progressed all the way to the state finals, where they won and were crowned the 2007 Oklahoma High School Varsity Boys Bowling Team. Additionally, the men's bowling team also were crowned state champions in 2016. The Women's bowling team has been on a dynasty run winning the state title the past 6 years. [2] [3]
Cheerleading has also been a major sport with their recent win of 6th in the 5A state competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma under Allison Wyatt and Cheryl Zimmerman. Cheerleading will be something to watch in the years to come.

Bishop Carroll Catholic High School is a private high school located in Wichita, Kansas, United States. It is one of two Catholic high schools in the city, part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wichita.
Enid High School (EHS) is a public tertiary school in Enid, Oklahoma, U.S., operated by the Enid Public Schools school district. With a student body of about 2035 in grades 9-12, Enid High School has a matriculation rate of about 65 percent. Some graduates continue their education at University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, or other establishments in Oklahoma. In recent years some have gone to West Point, Princeton University, Trinity University (Texas), Texas A&M Maritime Academy and Yale University.
New Berlin Eisenhower Middle/High School is a combination middle school and high school located in New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States. Part of the School District of New Berlin, the school serves grades 7 through 12. The school was nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School in 2005.
Chester W. Nimitz High School is a public high school in the Irving Independent School District, Irving, Texas. It was named for U.S. Navy Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. Nimitz High School is one of five public high schools in the Irving Independent School District.
Lawton High School (LHS) was the first high school built in Lawton, Oklahoma. Lawton High is located at 601 Northwest Fort Sill Boulevard in Lawton, Oklahoma. The school was originally housed in a building on 800 Southwest 'C' Avenue, which later came to be the Central Junior High building until the junior high was also moved to 1201 Northwest Fort Sill Boulevard. The current Lawton High School was built in 1954.
Belén High School (BHS) is a public high school located in Belen, Valencia County, New Mexico. A part of Belén Consolidated Schools, it opened in 1916 as the first public high school in Valencia County.
Lakeside High School is a public high school located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, United States. The Garland County school was founded in 1928. For 2010–11, the school enrollment was 1,184 students occupying grades 8 through 12.

Northside High School is a high school in Warner Robins, Georgia, United States. Located at 926 Green Street on the northern side of Warner Robins, it was built in 1963 and enrolls approximately 1827 students. It is a part of Houston County Schools.
East Central High School is one of nine high schools in Tulsa Public Schools in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The school is home to 1,143 students from East Tulsa. The majority of students transition into East Central from East Central Junior High.

Dwight Eisenhower High School is a public high school located in Decatur, Illinois. The school serves about 1,046 students in grades 9 to 12 in Decatur Public Schools District 61. Students from this school were featured on The N's Student Body, a show on which students competed against other students from their crosstown rival, MacArthur High School, to see who could lose the most weight for a $25,000 grand prize. Eisenhower High School organizes its students into communities divided by class, and has instituted a mandatory school uniform policy along with MacArthur High School. The fight song is "EHS Fight Song".
Lone Peak High School (LPHS) is a public high school in Highland, Utah, United States. Part of the Alpine School District, in northern Utah County, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills. Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year. However, it has since been given a 6A status. The school mascot is a knight.
Del City High School is the only public high school located in Del City, Oklahoma, U.S., and one of three high schools in the Mid-Del School District. The school opened in 1953. According to GreatSchools.org, the high school is rated above Midwest City High School and below Carl Albert High School, the other two high schools in the district. The school serves approximately 1,254 students. About a third of graduating students attend a four-year college.

MacArthur High School (MHS) was the third high school built in Lawton, Oklahoma. MacArthur was built and opened for the east Lawton area in 1969. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the east Lawton area consisted of four additions or neighborhoods which were under development: Carriage Hills, Park Lane, Sullivan Village, and SunGate.
