Omaha, commonly known as Omaha Beach, was the code name for one of the five sectors of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, during World War II. "Omaha" refers to an 8-kilometer (5 mi) section of the coast of Normandy, France, facing the English Channel, from east of Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes to west of Vierville-sur-Mer on the right bank of the Douve River estuary. Landings here were necessary to link the British landings to the east at Gold with the American landing to the west at Utah, thus providing a continuous lodgement on the Normandy coast of the Bay of the Seine. Taking Omaha was to be the responsibility of United States Army troops, with sea transport, mine sweeping, and a naval bombardment force provided predominantly by the United States Navy and Coast Guard, with contributions from the British, Canadian, and Free French navies.
Birsay is a parish in the north west corner of The Mainland of Orkney, Scotland. Almost all the land in the parish is devoted to agriculture: chiefly grassland used to rear beef cattle. There are various ancient monuments in the parish.
The City of Onkaparinga is a local government area (LGA) located on the southern fringe of Adelaide, South Australia. It is named after the Onkaparinga River, whose name comes from Ngangkiparinga, a Kaurna word meaning women's river. It is the largest LGA in South Australia, with a population of over 170,000 people in both urban and rural communities and is also geographically expansive, encompassing an area of 518.3 km². Meshoppen Creek is a tributary of the Susquehanna River in Susquehanna and Wyoming counties, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 30.6 miles (49.2 km) long and flows through Bridgewater Township, Dimock Township, and Springville Township in Susquehanna County and Lemon Township, Washington Township, Meshoppen Township, and Meshoppen in Wyoming County. The watershed of the creek has an area of 114 square miles (300 km2). It is possible to canoe on 17.0 miles (27.4 km) of Meshoppen Creek.
Mountain Studios is a multi-track recording studio previously located inside Montreux Casino in Montreux, Switzerland, but now located in Attalens. It was owned by Alex Grob and Anita Kerr until 1979, when they sold it to the rock band Queen. David Richards, a long-time producer for Queen, bought it in 1995. Upon Richards' death in 2013, the location of the former studio became the charity museum/exhibition Queen: The Studio Experience, with the Mercury Phoenix Trust being the beneficiary.

The A433 road is an A road and primary route in Gloucestershire, England. It starts at a junction with the A46 at Dunkirk (51.5754°N 2.3017°W), 5 miles (8.0 km) north of junction 18 of the M4 and 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Chipping Sodbury. It runs northeast for 16.5 miles (26.6 km) to a junction with the A429 just west of Cirencester (51.7011°N 2.0006°W). On its way to Cirencester the road passes the spectacular Westonbirt Arboretum, and runs through the villages of Westonbirt and Doughton, and the town of Tetbury; then to the north of both Cotswold Airport and Kemble village.

The Kent Showground, formerly known as the Kent County Showground is an area of land in Detling, Kent, England, north of the county town of Maidstone. Stretching along the north side of the A249 from the top of Detling Hill on land that formerly comprised RAF Detling, it is home to the Kent County Agricultural Society which hosts the venue's best-known event, the Kent County Show, each July. However the venue also hosts many other fairs, conferences and events throughout the year. The site covers over 200 acres (0.81 km2) and has been an event site for over 50 years.
The Hangang Bridge, literally Han River bridge, crosses the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It connects the districts of Yongsan-gu to the north and Dongjak-gu to the south, and crosses over the artificial island of Nodeulseom. The bridge carries eight lanes of traffic.

She was ordered on 6 November 1943, and was laid down on 2 September 1944 at AG Weser, Bremen as yard number 1176. She was launched on 5 November 1944, and commissioned under the command of Oberleutnant zur See Rolf Lindschau, on 5 January 1945.
