Career

She started playing badminton at aged 10 in Hennenman, South Africa. In 2013, she was selected among the 14 best African players to be a member of the Road to Rio Program organised by the BWF and Badminton Confederation of Africa, to provide financial and technical support to African players and the lead-up to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. [2] [3] She won bronze medal at the 2013 African Badminton Championships in women's doubles event with her partner Sandra Le Grange. [4]

Michelle Butler-Emmett is a South African badminton player. She was the All-Africa Games silver medalists in the mixed doubles in 2015 and in the team event in 2011 and 2015. Butler-Emmett won the African Championships in the mixed doubles in 2013 and 2014, also in the women's doubles in 2017.

Dona Lekha Shehani Handunkuttihettige is a Sri Lankan badminton player. She started to playing badminton at the age of 8. In 2009, she began to participate in the national badminton tournament, and in 2013, she won her first national title. She competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. In 2014, she was the runner-up at the Uganda International tournament in the women's singles event. In 2016, she won the singles title at the Ivory Coast International, and in 2017, she won doubles title at the Ethiopia International in the women's singles and doubles event. Shehani was graduated from the Convent of Our Lady of Victories, Moratuwa.
