Jakarta, officially the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, is the capital and a province of Indonesia. Situated on the northwest coast of the world's most populous island of Java, it is the centre of economy, culture and politics of Indonesia with a population of more than ten million as of 2014. Although Jakarta only covers 699.5 square kilometres (270.1 sq mi), the smallest among any Indonesian provinces, its metropolitan area covers 6,392 square kilometres (2,468 sq mi); it is the world's second-most populous urban area after Tokyo, with a population of about 30 million as of 2010. Jakarta's business opportunities, as well as its potential to offer a higher standard of living, have attracted migrants from across the Indonesian archipelago, making it a melting pot of numerous cultures. Jakarta is nicknamed the "Big Durian", the thorny strongly-odored fruit native to the region, as the city is seen as the Indonesian equivalent of New York.
Depok is a city in West Java province, and located within Jakarta metropolitan area in Indonesia. It has an area of 200.29 km2. As of 2014 census, it had a population of 1,869,681 people, with a density of 8,746 people/km2. Depok was declared as a separate city on 20 April, 1999.
Tangerang is a city in the province of Banten, Indonesia. Located on the western border of Jakarta, it is the third largest urban centre in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area after Jakarta and Bekasi; the sixth largest city proper in the nation; and the largest city in Banten province. It has an area of 164.54 square kilometres and an official 2010 Census population of 1,798,601, which had risen to 2,043,213 at the 2015 Intermediate Census. Blok M is a business and shopping quarter located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It runs east from Iskandarsyah street to Bulungan street in the west. North from Falatehan street to Melawai street in the south. The development is less modern than some of the developments near Kota, West Jakarta and many of the buildings are run down. On daily basis crowds of people throng its street, and even more so during night time. Much of the popularity of the quarter is due to the prices of goods, the night life, karaoke, massage parlour and the accessibility of the centre, considering it contains one of the largest bus stations in Jakarta which many Transjakarta and Kopaja buses depart from, since 2019 this area is also served by Jakarta MRT with Blok M MRT Station which directly connected to Blok M Plaza.

Senayan Station is a rapid transit station on the North-South Line of the Jakarta MRT in Jakarta, Indonesia. Located on Jl. Jendral Sudirman, it is the first underground station on the MRT. It is located between the Istora Mandiri and ASEAN stations, and has the station code of SNY. The station is located close to the Ratu Plaza Shopping Center, within walking distance of the malls of Senayan City and Plaza Senayan.
