Entre Mar y Palmera Tour is the title of the world tour of Dominican superstar Juan Luis Guerra and 4:40 to promote his live album of the same title, his EP Prive and to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of his blockbuster album Bachata Rosa . [1] [2] The tour kicked off February 12, 2022, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and is expected to end on July 13, 2024 in A Coruña, Spain.
Guerra's previous tour, Literal Tour Grandes Éxitos, was expected to end on December 12, 2020, with a massive concert at the Estadio Olimipico in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. However, it was cancelled due the COVID-19 pandemic. [3] [4] On December 25, 2020, Guerra released a special live stream as a Christmas gift for his fans, and he released Prive EP. On June 3, 2021, he broadcast a special concert for HBO Latino and later released his second album Entre Mar y Palmeras. Shortly after, he announced a world tour with the same name. [5] [6] [7]
In December 2021, Guerra announced a four-concert residency at the Hard Rock Café & Casino Punta Cana. [8] [9] [10] The tour was set to kick off February 5, 2022; however, it was postponed due heavy rain and bad weather. [11] The final concert of the residency on April 2, 2022, had an attendance of 5,000 fans and received positive reviews by local media. [12] [13] The concert at Miami FX Arena was supposed to be played on April 30, 2022; however, it was postponed to May 13, 2022, due Guerra testing positive to COVID-19. Despite this, it received positive reviews by the media and critics. [14] The concert at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan was reported by the media to be sold out and also received critical acclaim by critics. [15] In Madrid, the concert was reported sold out with over 15,000 tickets sold. [16] [17] The concert in Lima, Peru was reported sold out within minutes on been announced. [18] Also, the tickets for the concert in Santiago de Chile were quickly sold out. In Santo Domingo, the tour broke records as the fastest selling concert at the venue, Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez. At the time when the tickets were available online over 15,000 fans were signed up. The 50,000 tickets were sold in just three hours. [19] The concerts in Spain on 2022 had a total attendance of 70,000. [20]

Juan Luis Guerra Seijas is a Dominican musician, singer, composer, and record producer. He has sold 15 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Latin music artists. Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards including 24 Latin Grammy Awards, three Grammy Awards, and one Latin Billboard Music Award. He won 3 Latin Grammy Awards in 2010, including Album of the Year. In 2012, he won the Latin Grammy Award for Producer of the Year.
Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium is open-air multi-purpose stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Opened in 1974 for the XII Central American & Caribbean Games and renovated 2003 Pan American Games is the largest stadium in the Dominican Republic used mostly for football and track and field and as a music venue. The stadium has a sporting events' capacity of 27,000 people, though it has seen crowds of 35,000. For concerts, its stated capacity is 50,000 people.

Literal is the 14th studio album by Dominican singer, songwriter and producer Juan Luis Guerra. It was released on 31 May 2019 by Universal Music Latin. Written and produced by Juan Luis Guerra, the album contains eleven tracks and encompasses a variety of tropical genres, such as bachata, merengue, salsa and son along with influences from jazz, gospel, rock and Dominican folk music. The album was co-produced by Guerra's longtime collaboration and musical director Janina Rosado. It has lyrics about romance, love, nostalgia, moving on and protest against corruption.

The Big Boss World Tour was a concert tour by reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee to promote his album El Cartel: The Big Boss. This was his second arena tour in the United States and his first official world tour. Prive is the first EP by the Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra. It was released on December 25, 2020, and was distributed Universal Music Latin. It consisted in three new versions of Guerra's previous hits Las Avispas, Ojalá Que Llueva Cafe and Pedir Su Mano with acoustic arrangements and two new songs, Pambiche Pa` Mi Novia which was the lead single and "Donde Naces Tus Besos". The EP production consisted in an intimate sound based and oriented on Son and a slow version of merengue called Pambiche and with elements of jazz, blues, bossa nova and classical music along with the use of instruments piano, guitar, guira, vibraphone and saxophone. Privé was produced by Juan Luis Guerra and co-produced by his longtime arranger Janina Rosado.
Entre Mar y Palmeras is the second live album of the Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40. It was released on June 18, 2022 along with special concert, an open-air and audience-free concert, broadcast by HBO special, premiere on June 3, 2021, performing the songs and was recorded at the Esmeralda Beach, Miches in the Dominican Republic. It contains 16 live versions of hits and was directed by Guerra's oldest son, Jean Guerra. The album won Best Long Form Music Video at the 22nd Annual Latin Grammy Awards and Best Merengue/Bachata Album at the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards. Also, it was nominated for Album of the year at the 2022 Lo Nuestro Awards.
The La Última Mision World Tour is the farewell concert tour by reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel to support their final studio album La Última Misión (2022). The tour commenced on May 27, 2022, in Medellin, Colombia and is set to end on December 31, 2022, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was his longest tour at the time and consisted in six legs, 54 shows and visited United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia, where his made his debut in Japan. The tour kick off on June 21, 2019 in Valencia, Spain and ended in Orlando, Florida on October 27, 2019. The tour visited seven cities in the United States. The tour was planned to continue in 2020, however, it was cancelled due the COVID-19 pandemic.

Visa Para Un Sueño(English: Visa for a dream) is the third single by Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra and his band 440 from their fourth studio album Ojalá Que Llueva Café. Initially released by Karen Records in the Dominican Republic in 1989, it was released a year later in Spain. The track is a merengue providing a social commentary about the difficulties of obtaining a United States visa order to find work, better living conditions, and escape the poverty of third world countries, as well as being about the state of mind that many Dominicans have. The track was inspired by the illegal trips many Dominicans take to Puerto Rico every year to find better living and working conditions.
"Rosalía" is a song recorded by Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra for his seventh studio album, Bachata Rosa(1990), included as its first and opening track. It was composed and produced by Juan Luis Guerra and his band 4.40. The track is an upbeat merengue about a lover named Rosalia. The track contains poetic metaphors and lyrics describing that he loves her. Following the success of Bachata Rosa, the track charted inside of Panama Airplay. Radio Güira is the second extended play by the Dominican Juan Luis Guerra, released on November 3, 2023 by Rimas Entertainment. Written and produced by Guerra and Janina Rosado, the six track EP is inspired by a radio station broadcast created by Guerra titled 4:40 FM. Bachata Rosa World Tour is the first concert world tour by Dominican recording artist Juan Luis Guerra and his Band 4:40 to promote this blockbuster album Bachata Rosa (1990). It started at July 5, 1991, in Puerto Rico and ended on July 4, 1992, in Los Angeles, and was sponsored by soft drink manufacturer Pepsi and the European leg by Bitter Kas. With tour stops throughout the Americas and Europe, it broke several attendance records and drew over 350,000 fans.
