    The Communist, Republican, Citizen and Ecologist group is a parliamentary group in the French Senate, the indirectly elected upper house of the French Parliament. Unlike most other parliamentary groups in the Senate, it counts mostly of only the Senators of one party, the French Communist Party, among its members.

The party is a member of the European Green Party. It was formed on 13 November 2010 from the merger of The Greens and Europe Ecology.

    Led by Philippe Pétain, the Vichy regime that replaced the French Third Republic in 1940 chose the path of collaboration with the Nazi occupiers. This policy included the Bousquet-Oberg accords of July 1942 that formalized the collaboration of the French police with the German police. This collaboration was manifested in particular by anti-Semitic measures taken by the Vichy government, and by its active participation in the genocide.

    Juifs des Balkans, Espaces judéo-ibériques, XVIe-XXe siècles is a 1993 French-language academic book by Esther Benbassa and Aron Rodrigue, published by La Découverte. The work is about the Sephardic Jews. There are two English editions: the first, The Jews of the Balkans: The Judeo-Spanish Community, 15th to 20th Centuries, an abridged translation, was published in 1995 by Blackwell Publishing. A more complete translation, titled Sephardi Jewry: A History of the Judeo-Spanish Community, 14th-20th Centuries, was published in 2000 by the University of California Press. The French edition had an updated revision published in 2002, Histoire des Juifs sépharades. De Tolède à Salonique, published by Editions Points.
