Verrucomicrobiota is a phylum of Gram-negative bacteria that contains only a few described species. The species identified have been isolated from fresh water, marine and soil environments and human faeces. A number of as-yet uncultivated species have been identified in association with eukaryotic hosts including extrusive explosive ectosymbionts of protists and endosymbionts of nematodes residing in their gametes.

Blattidae Family of cockroaches

Blattidae is a cockroach family in the order Blattodea containing several of the most common household cockroaches. Some notable species include:

Conocephalus Genus of cricket-like animals

Conocephalus is a genus of bush-crickets, known as coneheads. It was described by Carl Peter Thunberg in 1815.

Odorrana tormota, also known as the concave-eared torrent frog, is a species of frog native to China. Its distribution is restricted to Huangshan Mountains in Anhui and Jiande and Anji counties in northern Zhejiang. It occurs in fast-flowing streams and the surrounding habitats, and breeds in streams. The informally assigned common name for frogs in this genus is torrent frog.

Phaneropterinae Subfamily of cricket-like animals

The Phaneropterinae, the sickle-bearing bush crickets or leaf katydids, are a subfamily of insects within the family Tettigoniidae. Nearly 2,060 species in 85 genera throughout the world are known. They are also known as false katydids or round-headed katydids.

Panchlora Genus of cockroaches

Panchlora is a genus of cockroaches, mostly found in South America and Central America. Most species in this genus are green in colour, but some are cream or grey.

Eublaberus Genus of cockroaches

Eublaberus is a genus of cockroaches closely related to Blaberus. Among the differences are proportionately somewhat shorter, stouter limbs, a broad blackish bar on the caudal margin (rear) of the pronotum, and angulation on the lateral margins (sides) of the pronotum.

Gergithus Genus of true bugs

Gergithus is a genus of planthoppers in the family Issidae. Like all planthoppers, adults feed on plant sap and are capable of escaping by leaping. The genus like other members in the tribe appears somewhat rounded and beetle-like, in some cases, with a mimetic resemblance to ladybird beetles. About 60 species are known in the genus and they are distributed in the Indomalayan and Palearctic Realms.

Sivapanthera is a prehistoric genus of felid described by Kretzoi in 1929. Species of Sivapanthera are closely related to the modern cheetah but differ from modern cheetahs by having relatively longer brain cases, flatter foreheads, narrower nostrils and larger teeth. In many ways, skulls of Sivapanthera show similarity to that of the puma, or even those of Panthera. Scholars differ on the validity of this genus, while some think that it should be treated as a distinct genus, others think that its members should be treated as members of the Acinonyx genus, or even as subspecies of Acinonyx pardinensis.

Coitocaecum is a genus of trematodes in the family Opecoelidae. It has been synonymised to Ozakia Wisniewski, 1934, Paradactylostomum Zhukov, 1972 nec Toman, 1992, and Pseudocoitocaecum Bilqees, 1972.

Symploce (insect) Genus of cockroaches

Symploce is a genus of cockroach in the family Ectobiidae.

Neoblattella Genus of cockroaches

Neoblattella is a genus of cockroach in the family Ectobiidae.

Leptomantella is a genus of praying mantids and typical of the new (2019) family Leptomantellidae. Species have been recorded from Asia.

Diploderma Genus of lizards

Diploderma is a genus of lizards in the family Agamidae. Species of Diploderma are native to Myanmar, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan. Most of the species are found in China, including many endemics.

Xizicus is a genus of Asian bush crickets belonging to the tribe Meconematini in the subfamily Meconematinae. They are found in India, China, Korea, and Indochina.

Balta is a genus of cockroaches in the sub family Pseudophyllodromiinae. Found in Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania. The genus was created in 1893 by Johann Tepper.

Panesthia

Panesthia is a large genus of burrowing giant cockroach in the subfamily Panesthiinae. It is subsocial and its species are mainly found in Southeast Asia, coastal East Asia, Australasia, and Indo-Malaysia.

Eucorydia donanensis is a species of iridescent cockroach in the family Corydiidae. It was discovered on Yonaguni Island of Japan's Ryukyu Archipelago, and was believed to be restricted to that island until its discovery on nearby Ishigakijima Island in June 2022.

Eucorydia miyakoensis is a species of cockroach first discovered on Miyako Island, in Japan's Ryukyu Archipelago, in 2021. It is found exclusively in the forests of Miyako Island, where it lives in the forest floor's leaf litter and humus.
