The Exhibition Ground is a cricket ground in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, India. The ground first held a single first-class match in 1976 when Andhra Pradesh played Hyderabad in the 1976/77 Ranji Trophy, [1] which ended in a draw. [2]

He made 2649 runs, with a highest of 134 not out against Goa, He also scored 20 half centuries and took 173 wickets with his slow left arm orthodox bowling with five for 32 being the best bowling figures, he had a total of five five-wicket hauls.

The ground is mainly used for organizing matches of football, cricket and other sports. The stadium has hosted two Ranji Trophy match in 1965 when Kerala cricket team played against Andhra cricket team. Naushir Mehta, also spelled as Noshir Mehta, is a former Indian first-class cricketer who played for Hyderabad as an off break bowler between 1967/68 and 1976/77. In 2014, he completed 50 years in his playing career.

2016–17 Ranji Trophy Group C Cricket tournament

The 2016–17 Ranji Trophy is the 83rd season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament in India. It is being contested by 28 teams divided into three groups. Groups A and B comprise nine teams and Group C comprises ten teams. Hyderabad and Haryana qualified for the knockout stage of the tournament.

The Travancore-Cochin cricket team represented the Indian state of Travancore-Cochin in the Ranji Trophy from 1951-52 to 1956-57. After the state was reorganised and expanded to form the new state of Kerala in 1956, the Travancore-Cochin team was superseded by the Kerala cricket team, beginning with the 1957-58 Ranji Trophy.

2018–19 Ranji Trophy Group B Cricket tournament

The 2018–19 Ranji Trophy was the 85th season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament that took place in India. It was contested by 37 teams, divided into four groups, with nine teams in Group B. The group stage ran from 1 November 2018 to 10 January 2019. The top five teams across Group A and Group B progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.
