Qualification for the 1991 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 1991 took place between 9 May 1989 and 5 December 1990. A total of eight teams qualified for the tournament.

The 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Europe region, will begin in February 2024 and will conclude in March 2027. The process will determine the twelve teams that will qualify for the 2027 FIBA World Cup.
