Fotballklubben Sparta Sarpsborg is the football department of IL Sparta. Founded in 1928, the club got its present name in 2004. The club currently plays in 4. divisjon, the fifth tier of the Norwegian football league system.
The club won the Norwegian Cup in 1952, having scored all the five goals in the final against Solberg which Sparta won 3–2. [2] Sparta played in Hovedserien from its inception in 1948–49 until 1957–58, only interrupted by one season at the second tier. In the ten seasons at the top tier the average home attendances differed between 1,300 and 5,000. [3]
In 1999, 16 teams in the Sarpsborg area joined forces to create a team that could compete in the top divisions of Norwegian football, called Sarpsborg Fotball, which overtook Sarpsborg FK's spot in the third tier in the league-system. In its first season, the team was relegated from the 2. divisjon, and several clubs, including both Sarpsborg FK and Sparta, withdrew from the collaboration. The remaining clubs in the "Sarpsborg Fotball"-project formed a new club called Borg Fotball, which won promotion to the 2. divisjon in 2002, but was relegated again in 2003. Meanwhile, Sparta was promoted to the 2. divisjon the same season, and re-entered the collaboration club which now was renamed FK Sparta Sarpsborg. The club secured promotion to 1. divisjon in 2005 after decades in the lower divisions, with a 15–0 win against Fram Larvik on 22 October 2005. [4] Ahead of the 2008 season Sparta withdrew their team and gave their place to the new club Sarpsborg 08. Sparta is currently playing in the fourth division, having been relegated from the 3. divisjon in 2016.

Hamarkameratene, often abbreviated to HamKam or Ham-Kam, is a Norwegian football club based in the town of Hamar. The club was founded in 1918, originally under the name Freidig.
Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section. After the professional football department, FK Lyn was bankrupted in 2010, the fans decided to support the amateur department, Lyn Fotball, instead. With the help of some of the old FK Lyn players, Lyn Fotball have won three consecutive promotions, and are playing in the 3. divisjon. The team plays its home matches at Bislett Stadium, and the head coach is currently Bent Inge Johnsen.

The men's team currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club's home matches are played at the 5,622 capacity Fosshaugane Campus.
Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081. The club's old home ground, Høddvoll Stadion, holds the record attendance of over 12,000 spectators at a match against Vålerenga in 1981.

During his own playing career he had relative success as a midfielder, having played for Lillestrøm SK and Swedish team Djurgårdens IF as well as 20 matches for Norway. He managed another Swedish team, IFK Göteborg, between November 2004 and September 2006.
Sarpsborg 08 Fotballforening, commonly known as Sarpsborg 08 or simply Sarpsborg, is a Norwegian football club based in Sarpsborg, playing in Eliteserien. Sarpsborg 08 and its predecessors played in 1. divisjon from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, the club was promoted to the Tippeligaen, the top league in Norway, but finished last and was relegated back to 1. divisjon in 2011. In 2012, they were promoted again and 6 years after, they qualified for their first Europa League group stage. They play their home games at Sarpsborg Stadion.

Sarpsborg is one of the most successful teams in the Norwegian Football Cup, with six titles and twelve finals in total. In 2007, the club merged into the club that is now called Sarpsborg 08, and today Sarpsborg FK is an amateur club playing in the 4. divisjon, the fifth tier of Norwegian league system.

Rosenborg were the defending champions, having secured their twenty-second League Championship on 24 October 2010. Sogndal, Sarpsborg 08 and Fredrikstad entered as the three promoted teams from the 2010 1. divisjon. They replaced Hønefoss, Kongsvinger and Sandefjord who were relegated to the 2011 1. divisjon.

While the club have had a football department since the foundation, the ice hockey department was founded in 1959. The club has previously also been playing bandy.
Neset Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club located in Frosta, Trøndelag. The club was founded 1 June 1905 as Trygg. The men's team currently plays in 5. divisjon, the sixth tier of the Norwegian football league system. Neset play their home games at Vinnatrøa kunstgress.
