Gary Martin is a British actor.

Career

Martin's father was a singer, and his mother was an actor and extra. In 1975, he had acted in a few adverts by the end of school, but needed to get a proper job. He got a cabaret act together and started performing on a cruise ship at 17. In 1976, he made his debut in the West End theatre with Jesus Christ Superstar at 18 after a period of training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. [1] [2] [3]

He later moved on to other theatre roles in the West End, such as Rocky Horror in The Rocky Horror Show in 1979, the voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors in 1983, which he described as a "deep, black, Harlem voice"; Time in 1986, Munkustrap in Cats from 1987 to 1990, Miss Saigon in 1989, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1990, and Vince Fontaine in Grease in 1993. In 1980, he narrated a trailer for Saturn 3 . Martin had been doing jingles and adverts, but started doing voice acting, including providing the voice of Sugar Puffs' mascot Honey Monster from the 1980s onwards. In the 1990s, he shifted to focus more on voice acting. [2] [4] [3] [5] [6]

Martin has provided voices for The Adventures of Mole, The Adventures of Toad, The Neverending Story III , FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue , Corpse Bride , Ultramarines: A Warhammer 40,000 Movie and Minions . He won a Talkie Award for his portrayal of Judge Dredd for BBC Radio 1. He has also recorded voiceovers for American and British commercials and film trailers. [2] [3] [7]

Unshō Ishizuka was a Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator and theatre director from Katsuyama, Fukui. He was affiliated with Aoni Production at the time of his death and was known for providing the voice of both the narrator and Professor Oak on the Japanese anime series Pokémon. In addition to that, he regularly appeared in both the Japanese and English-language versions of the Pokémon anime, voicing Onix, Steelix and numerous other Pokémon.

Jack Angel was an American voice actor and radio personality. He provided voice-overs for animation and video games. Angel had voiced characters in shows by Hasbro and Hanna-Barbera such as Super Friends, The Transformers and G.I. Joe and was involved in numerous productions by Disney and Pixar. Before becoming involved with voiceover work, Angel was initially a disc jockey for radio stations, namely KMPC and KFI. The day of his death, October 18, a piece of lost 1980s paraphernalia that contained his voice as the lead role, being the U.S. dub of TUGS, was discovered.

Before animation, Klassen worked in radio in Winnipeg (CITI-FM), Toronto (Q107), Calgary (CFAC), Portage la Prairie (CFRY) and part-time at CFOX and CFMI. In animation, he is best known for his work on My Little Pony being voice director of all episodes including the movie and the Equestria Girls series. Klassen has also voiced many characters including Baby Sylvester in Baby Looney Tunes, Tusky Husky in Krypto the Superdog and Tony and Seth Parsons in The Cramp Twins.

Jeffrey Alan Winkless was an American actor born in Springfield, Massachusetts. Two of his younger brothers, Terence H. Winkless and Daniel Owen Winkless, worked with him on The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. He was also credited as Jeffrey Brock. He did voice-overs for several anime titles including Lupin the Third, Castle in the Sky, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Wicked City and Vampire Hunter D. Winkless died of a brain tumor on June 26, 2006, in Evanston, Illinois.

José Francisco Colmenero y Villanueva, known professionally as Francisco Colmenero, is a Mexican voice actor and voice director. After the death of his father, his brother in law, voice actor and voice director Edmundo Santos, offered him a job as his private driver then Colmenero accepted. During his time working as the driver of Edmundo Santos, Colmenero met the muse of Santos, the voice actress Estrellita Díaz with whom he started an affair and after a while Díaz convinced Santos to use Colmenero as a dubbing actor for additional voices debuting in The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin in 1954.

Jonathan Kydd is a British actor, voice-over artist, narrator, writer, producer and podcaster, and the son of the late actor Sam Kydd. He has been on many TV shows but has been moderately successful as a voice actor, voicing video games, advertisements, corporates, documentaries and cartoons and being a regular in comedy episodes for BBC Radio 4. He has fronted a few comedy bands and sings and writes for The Rudy Vees. He podcasts on the Chelsea FanCast every week, talking about Chelsea F.C. and doing the Chelsea Fanbite for the FanCast.

The Beano Videostars is a direct-to-video animated film based on The Beano, originally released on VHS on 17 October 1994 and also broadcast as a television special on ITV. The video is a sequel to The Beano Video, and features an expanded cast of characters, including Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, Minnie the Minx, the Bash Street Kids, Billy Whizz, the Three Bears, and Ivy the Terrible. It was produced and directed by Terry Ward at Flicks Films Ltd, with voices provided by Susan Sheridan, Kate Robbins, Enn Reitel, Gary Martin and Jonathan Kydd, along with newcomers Alex Patterson, Mark Pickard, Jill Shilling and Nicola Stapleton.
