The Anoia river has its source on the territory of the municipality. A local road links the municipality with the main N-II road from Barcelona to Lleida.
Isona i Conca Dellà is a municipality in the comarca of the Pallars Jussà in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the valley of the Conques river in the south-east of the comarca. It was formed in 1970 by the fusion of the following municipalities: Isona, Basturs, Benavent de la Conca, Biscarri, Conques, Covet, Gramenet, Llordà, Masos de Sant Martí, Montodó, Orcau i Figuerola d'Orcau, Sant Romà d'Abella and Siall. The town hall is in Isona. The municipality is served by the C-1412 road between Artesa de Segre and Tremp, and is linked to Coll de Nargó by the L-511. It includes a small exclave to the south.

The municipal territory extends to both the east and west of la Pobla de Segur, on the sides of the valley of the Noguera Pallaresa river. The municipality was known as Pallars Jussà from its formation in 1969 until 1995, when the name was changed to avoid confusion with the comarca.

Abella de la Conca is a village in the province of Lleida in the county of Pallars Jussà and the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality is situated on the eastern bank of the Tremp Basin. It comprises the high valleys of the Abella River tributary of the Conques river on its right bank and of the Rams River. The valley of the latter is sandwiched between the Boumort and Carreu mountains. In addition to the Tremp Basin, it comprises a section of the Puials River valley. A portion of the village houses are semi-excavated in the rock.

Economic activity is agricultural, mainly non-irrigated barley, olives, almonds, and vines.
