Gurley is a small town in the northwest of New South Wales, Australia between Narrabri and Moree. The Newell Highway and the North-West railway line pass through the township. A now-closed railway station opened in 1897. [2]
Gurley Siding Post Office opened on 16 March 1898 and was renamed Gurley in 1917. [3]

Founded in 1850, it is named after John Whitton (1820–98), Engineer-in-Charge of the New South Wales Government Railways. The railway reached Whitton in 1881. At the 2016 census, Whitton had a population of 496.
Beckom is a village in the central part of the Riverina. It is situated about 5 kilometres north-east of Ardlethan, and situated about 90 kilometres (56 mi) east of Griffith. It had a population of 170 people on the 2006 Census night. The town was established with the opening of the railway line in 1908. Passenger services ceased in 1983 and the station closed in 1985 however the line remains open for goods trains.

Curyo is a town in the Mallee Ward of the Shire of Buloke, Victoria, Australia. Curyo has a Grain Depot on the Mildura railway line; however, the station closed to passenger and parcels traffic on 11 November 1975. A CFA fire brigade in the area is located on Pratt Road, adjacent to the grain depot. The post office there opened on 20 January 1900 and was closed on 9 January 1976. Curyo used to have a football club and a golf course.
