Hamidabad College, Satsia was established on 16 November 1979. The college is located at Jamadarhat on the southern bank of the Brahamaputra River in Dhubri District of Assam. Hamidabad College has a total 900 seats. The college offers Arts Stream courses. You can also choose a Major Subject. The college does not offer Science and Commerce Stream subjects.This college affiliated to Gauhati University. [2] [3]

Location

The college is located in Satsia village, a half kilometer from the Poravita Market. It is about 10 km from Fakirganj Police Station, 12 km from Tikrikilla (Meghalaya) and 25 km from Lakhipur Town. [4]

The college was established on 16 November 1979 by the late Maulana Pir Abdul Hamid Khan Bashani for the improvement of education in the area. The college had not been governed for a log time since its establishment. Finally, after a long time, the college has been launched by the Government of Assam since 01/01/2013, which is a matter of immense joy and pride for the well-wishers of the college. [5]
