Highwood is a 15.2-hectare (38-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Woodley, west of Wokingham in Berkshire. It is owned by Wokingham Borough Council and managed by the council together with The Friends of Highwood. [1] [2]
The nature reserve is mixed lowland woodland with a heathland area. [3] The site also features examples of exotic tree species which were part of an arboretum in the grounds of what was Woodley Lodge. [3]

Earley is a town and civil parish in the English non-administrative county of Berkshire. Along with neighbouring Woodley, it forms part of the extensive eastern suburbs of Reading. The Office for National Statistics places Earley within the Reading/Wokingham Urban Area; for the purposes of local government it falls within the Borough of Wokingham, outside the area of Reading Borough Council. The name is sometimes spelt Erleigh or Erlegh.
Streatham Common is a large open space on the southern edge of Streatham in the London Borough of Lambeth. The shallow sloping lower (western) half of the common is mostly mowed grass, and the upper (eastern) half is mostly woodland with some small areas of gorse scrub and acid grassland. Rowley Green Common is a six hectare Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Importance Metropolitan for Nature Conservation in Arkley, north London.
