Hitchhiker is an extended play (EP) marketed as the eight single of Japanese boy group JO1, featuring the lead track "Love Seeker". Consisting a total of six songs, the EP single was released into four editions on May 29, 2024.
Hitchiker debuted at number one on Oricon Daily Singles Chart with 415,697 copies sold. [1] The EP single became the group's eight consecutive number-one on the weekly chart with 505,623 copies sold; [2] it was also the fifth single in 2024 that exceeded half a million sales in its first week. [3] Hitchiker also topped the Billboard Japan Top Singles Sales chart with 738,775 copies sold and was certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for more than 500,000 copies in shipments. "Guts!" is the 43rd single released by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on April 30, 2014. "Guts!" was used as the theme song for the drama Yowakutemo Katemasu starring Arashi member Kazunari Ninomiya. It was the sixth best-selling single of the year in Japan, with 604,654 copies.
