Macrolepiota is a genus of white spored, gilled mushrooms of the family Agaricaceae. The best-known member is the parasol mushroom (M. procera). The widespread genus contains about 40 species.

Podaxis Genus of fungi

Podaxis is a genus of secotioid fungi in the family Agaricaceae. Species, which have the appearance of a "stalked-puffball", have a worldwide distribution, and tend to be found growing solitary or scattered on sandy soils, especially in arid regions. Although close to 50 species have been described, it has been argued that many of them may represent extremes in the natural range of variations found in Podaxis pistillaris.

Afroboletus Genus of fungi

Afroboletus is a genus of fungi in the family Boletaceae. The genus, circumscribed in 1981, contains seven species found in tropical Africa.

Pulveroboletus Genus of fungi

Pulveroboletus is a genus of fungi in the family Boletaceae. The genus has a cosmopolitan distribution and contains 25 species.

Cymatoderma Genus of fungi

Cymatoderma is a widely distributed genus of poroid fungi in the family Meruliaceae.

Hygrophoropsis Genus of fungi

Hygrophoropsis is a genus of gilled fungi in the family Hygrophoropsidaceae. It was circumscribed in 1888 to contain the type species, H. aurantiaca, a widespread fungus that, based on its appearance, has been affiliated with Cantharellus, Clitocybe, and Paxillus. Modern molecular phylogenetic analysis shows that the genus belongs to the suborder Coniophorineae of the order Boletales.

Armillaria pelliculata is a species of agaric fungus in the family Physalacriaceae. This species is found in Africa.

Micropsalliota Genus of fungi

Micropsalliota is a genus of small agaric fungi in the family Agaricaceae. The genus contains about 60 species, most of which are found in tropical areas.

Rugosospora is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae. The genus contains two species: R. ochraceobadia, found in Africa, and R. pseudorubiginosa, found in Colombia and Mexico. These species have fruit bodies (mushrooms) with free gills, a white spore print, and a ring on the stipe. Rugosospora was circumscribed by Belgian mycologist Paul Heinemann in 1973.

Xanthagaricus is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae. The genus contains 23 species found in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, China and Africa. Originally described in 1984 by Belgian mycologist Paul Heinemann as Hymenagaricus subgen. Xanthagaricus, it was promoted to generic status in 1997.

Amauroderma Genus of fungi

Amauroderma is a genus of polypore fungi in the family Ganodermataceae. The genus, widespread in tropical areas, contains about 70 species. Amauroderma fungi are wood-decay fungi that feed and fruit on decayed branches and trunks.

Microporellus Genus of fungi

Microporellus is a genus of poroid fungi in the family Polyporaceae.

Thelephora Genus of fungi

Thelephora is a genus of fungi in the family Thelephoraceae. The genus has a widespread distribution and contains about 50 species. Fruit bodies of species are leathery, usually brownish at maturity, and range in shape from coral-like tufts to having distinct caps. Almost all species in the genus are thought to be inedible, but Thelephora ganbajun is a gourmet fungus in Yunnan province of southwest China.

Cantharellus luteopunctatus is a species of fungus in the genus Cantharellus. Found in Africa, it was described as new to science in 1928 by Belgian mycologist Maurice Beeli as Lentinus luteopunctatus. Paul Heinemann transferred it to Cantharellus in 1958.

Vascellum is a genus of puffball fungi in the family Agaricaceae. The genus was defined by Czech mycologist František Šmarda in 1958.

Hygrophoropsis kivuensis is a species of fungus in the family Hygrophoropsidaceae. Found in the Republic of Congo, it was described as new to science in 1963 by Belgian botanist Paul Heinemann.
