I'm Bout It is the soundtrack to the film of the same name. It was released on May 20, 1997, through EMI, Priority Records and Master P's No Limit Records and featured production from Beats By the Pound, Brotha Lynch Hung, E-A-Ski and the Fast One.

Commercial and chart performance

The soundtrack was a success, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, and number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, becoming No Limit's first number-one album, with first-week sales of 300,000 units. In addition, the single "If I Could Change" rose to number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 27 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, and number 5 on the Hot Rap Singles; another single "Pushin' Inside You" made it to number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100. By January 22, 1998.

I Got the Hook-Up is the soundtrack for the film of the same name. It was released on April 7, 1998, by No Limit Records and featured production by Beats By the Pound, Bud'da and RZA, among others. The soundtrack was a huge success, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Shortly after its release, it was certified platinum by the RIAA. The soundtrack featured the hit single "I Got the Hook-Up!", which made it to #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #11 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. According to Master P's long time friend BOZ, the soundtrack was certified 3× platinum in 3 months of its release.

Soul Food is the soundtrack to the 1997 film of the same name. It was released on September 16, 1997, through LaFace Records and mainly consisted of R&B music with some hip hop music. The soundtrack was a success, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified double Multi-Platinum on February 17, 1998. Four singles charted on the Billboard Hot 100: "I Care 'Bout You", "What About Us?" by Total, "We're Not Making Love No More" by Dru Hill, and "A Song for Mama" by Boyz II Men, the latter of which was a number 1 R&B single. The soundtrack was also noted for the fictional quintet group Milestone, consisting of K-Ci & JoJo, Babyface and his brothers, Kevon and Melvin Edmonds, who all came together once for their single and cameo appearance in the film.
