The Men's Super Globe is a handball competition contested between the champion clubs from continental confederations.
On 7 December 2018, the IHF moved the Super Globe to Saudi Arabia for four years, until 2022. [1]

Al-Khaleej Club is a Saudi Arabian multisports club. Located in Saihat, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It is a sport, social, educational club. Additionally, different teams in this club, categorized in different levels based on the age, play different sports. Among the sports played by the Khaleej Club teams are football, handball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis, gymnastics, athletics, aquatics and others.

Al-Noor Club of Saudi Arabia won the championship by beating two times champion El-Jaish Sports Club of Qatar in the final match by 25-23. Defending Champion Lekhwiya Sports Club of Qatar managed to get bronze medal after beating Gachsaran Oil & Gas Club of Islamic Republic of Iran by 31-21. It is the official competition for men's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions. The winner of the championship qualified for the 2017 IHF Super Globe.

The championship was hosted by Handball Federation of India at the Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad (India) from 20 to 30 November 2017. It was the official competition for men's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions. Al-Najma wins the championship by beating Al-Duhail Club (Qatar) by 21 – 16 in a low scoring match. The winner qualifies for the 2018 IHF Super Globe.
