The Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering is a college of engineering at Dehradun, Uttarakhand, northern India.

It was founded in 1992 at 15/1, Kalidas Road, Dehradun. In 1995 it moved to 179 Kalidas Road, and in 2006 relocated near Jolly Grant Airport. The site has class rooms and hostels with all aircraft training facilities.

The institute was founded by Mr. Mahendra Kumar, a Chartered Engineer and life member of bodies including the Institution of Engineers (India), Aeronautical Society of India and Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering. His personal awards include the Glory of India Award. He is the Institute's Managing Director. [1]

Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering trains its students by way of theoretical classes and practical training. The qualifications it offers include three-year and four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree courses; [2] [3] the first two years are taken on site, and the remainder at Perth College UHI in the United Kingdom.

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), formerly Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur (VRCE), is a public engineering and research institution in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in central India. It was established in June 1960 by the Government of India and later named in honor of engineer, planner and statesman Sir M. Visvesvaraya.

Government Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK), Kerala is an engineering institution under the Department of Technical Education in Kerala, India. Located in Westhill Kozhikode of the Malabar region rich in traditions. The Government Engineering College Kozhikode is one of the five Government Engineering Colleges given sanction in the year 1999. It was seven years after its founding, the college shifted to Westhill Kozhikode to its original building. The Government Engineering College, Kozhikode situated at West Hill is well connected to the Kozhikode city by open and wide roads, the institute campus is about 5 Km away from the Kozhikode Railway Station and 30 Km from Calicut International Airport.

Apollo Engineering College

Apollo Engineering College (AEC) is a private, self-financing, co-educational institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Anna University. AEC was established in 2007. This institution has a built up area of about 2,00,000 sq.feet and has been fully finished. The floors are furnished and there is a garden. All departments have smart rooms that are equipped with most modern teaching aids like LCD projectors, OHP, multimedia computer systems and audio/video devices.

India has the largest numbers of engineers as well as the largest number of engineering education institutes and infrastructure in the world. In 2021, India annually produces one million engineering graduates, has 3500 engineering colleges, 3400 polytechnics, and 200 schools of planning and architecture, and many times more Industrial training institute. Combination of these impart undergraduate and graduate courses in architecture, engineering, applied engineering and sciences.

Tula's Institute is a private and self-financing engineering and management college set up by the Rishabh Educational Trust in 2006. It is at Dehradun in Uttarakhand. It is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and approved by the AICTE and MHRD and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute.

Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering & Information Technology

Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering & Information Technology (IIAEIT) is an aerospace engineering college in Pune, India. It also offers mechanical engineering and other technology related courses. It is known for its full-time face to face B.Tech Aerospace Engineering course (BTAE) which is jointly launched by [sandip university] (SUN) and Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organisation (AERO).
