Indian Summer is an electronic music project of Australian record producer, DJ, songwriter, and radio personality Gabe Gleeson. He also produces music under the name Gabe Ruth.
Gabe Gleeson is the grandson of Italian/Australian filmmaker Giorgio Mangiamele. [5]
He performed in bands throughout high school and studied design at university before leaving to focus on the project. [6]
Indian Summer was previously[ when? ] a duo with Chevy Long. [7]
In 2012 Indian Summer signed to Australian electronic label Sweat It Out! Music! Music by its late founder DJ Ajax, [8] they embarked on their first Australian tour [9] and were listed among FBi Radio's most played artists the following year. [10] In 2014 they were invited to perform at SXSW, [11] toured the United States (making appearances in support of Robert Delong and Digitalism), [12] were named as one of MTV Australia's top producers of the year [13] and mixed Sweat It Out! Music’s ‘Let’s Sweat’ compilation album released by Universal Music Australia. [14] Indian Summer again toured domestically as part of Nina Las Vegas Presents alongside TKAY Maidza, Cosmo's Midnight, Motez, Touch Sensitive, and L D R U [15] as well as for Sweat It Out! Music's 2015 Tour with Dom Dolla, Cassian and Go Freek. [16]
In 2014, Indian Summer performed at Splendour In The Grass, [17] Field Day, [18] Falls Festival, [19] and Beyond The Valley. [20]
"Shiner", ft. Ginger & The Ghost, reached #1 on the Hype Machine chart in 2015; [21] its recording and film clip were respectively added to rotation on triple j, [22] Foxtel's Channel V [23] and along with 'Loveweights' ft. Shaqdi, [24] The ABC's Rage program. [25] The act has been the subject of multiple features on triple j [26] including two hour long Mix Up segments [27] [28] and its works have attracted unofficial video remixes from fans. [29] [30] [31]
As of 2020, he also releases music under the pseudonym Gabe Ruth through Medium Rare Recordings. [32] His 2022 single 'Make Your Move' was added to rotation on Triple J Unearthed Radio. [33]
Gleeson was the editor of influential Australian electronic music website Purple Sneakers between 2012 and 2015, [34] [35] hosted its corresponding two-hour weekly radio program [36] and has spoken on industry panels at EMC [37] and BigSound. [38]

Felix Bloxsom is an Australian musician and songwriter, known professionally as Plastic Plates. Bloxsom is best known for his drumming and for playing percussion, additionally working as a DJ and record producer.
Cash Cash is an American DJ trio from Roseland, New Jersey. The group consists of three DJs / musicians: brothers Jean Paul and Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch. They produce, record, mix and master all their music together as a trio. The group's highest-charting song to date is their RIAA platinum-certified single "Take Me Home", which features vocals by Bebe Rexha. Harley Edward Streten, known professionally as Flume, is an Australian musician, DJ, and record producer. He is regarded as a pioneer of future bass who helped popularise the genre. His self-titled debut studio album, Flume, was released in 2012 to positive reviews, topping the ARIA Albums Chart and reaching double-platinum accreditation in Australia.
Peking Duk is an Australian electronic music band from Canberra, made up of disc jockeys and record producers Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. The pair first garnered attention in 2012 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Their biggest hit, "High", reached 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, achieved a triple platinum certification, and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014. Notable festivals Peking Duk have performed include Falls Festival, Spilt Milk, Splendour in the Grass, and Big Day Out.
Steven Zhu, known mononymously as Zhu, is an American electronic music producer and singer who has been active since the beginning of 2014, signed to Mind of a Genius Records. Until mid-2014, Zhu remained anonymous, asking to be judged by his music alone. His debut album, Generationwhy, was released on July 29, 2016 and first premiered at Coachella during his closing set in the Sahara Tent. Zhu's Coachella performance was praised, with a writer for the New York Observer suggesting that he could be "the next Daft Punk".

Shaqdi is a London-based Swedish-born songwriter artist. Shaqdi is using her Palestinian father's name as a pseudonym. Shaqdi learned to play the piano and violin when she was four. She grew up in a small town in Sweden, after high school she moved to Stockholm where she completed a degree in Kulturama.
