Allison Dillon / Aftershock from the novel was adapted to the animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (2023–2025), voiced by Alison Brie. [21] This version daylights as Ms. Dillon, a school teacher, who opposes Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. While not made explicitly clear within the series, show developer Steve Loter confirmed her as Electro's daughter, [22] with Aftershock's first storyline in the series: draining the Lower East Side's energy, serving as "a statement" about gentrification.
