Isaiah Rashad Joel McClain is an American rapper. His mainstream breakthrough followed after his performances on the 2012 Smoker's Club Tour alongside rappers Juicy J, Joey Badass and Smoke DZA. He is a founding member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee-based hip hop collective The House, which he formed with rappers YGTUT, Michael Da Vinci (MikeyD), Chris P, and Brian Brown.

In 2009, Lanez began his career by releasing his debut mixtape, T.L 2 T.O. The Sun's Tirade is the debut studio album by American rapper Isaiah Rashad. It was released on September 2, 2016, and is his second release with Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), following 2014's acclaimed EP Cilvia Demo.

The discography of American rapper and singer Lil Uzi Vert includes four studio albums, nine extended plays (EPs), four mixtapes, and 54 singles. Lil Uzi Vert first gained recognition with their commercial mixtape Luv Is Rage (2015), which led to a recording contract with Atlantic Records under DJ Drama's imprint, Generation Now. A standout track from the mixtape, "7AM," spent ten weeks on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart, peaking at number five as of August 6, 2016. Their breakthrough came with the release of the mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World (2016), which peaked at number 37 on the US Billboard 200 and spent a total of 55 weeks on the chart. Both "Money Longer" and "You Was Right" have been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Their fourth mixtape, The Perfect LUV Tape (2016), debuted at number 55 on the US Billboard 200. In February 2018, the mixtape was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), signifying combined sales and album-equivalent units of 500,000. The mixtape was supported by singles "Seven Million" and "Erase Your Social." Lil Uzi Vert also released a collaborative EP with Gucci Mane titled 1017 vs. the World (2016).

"Love Galore" is a song by American singer SZA featuring American rapper Travis Scott. It was released through Top Dawg Entertainment and RCA Records as the second single from her debut studio album, Ctrl, on April 28, 2017. SZA the artists wrote the song alongside TDE President Punch and producers Scum, Lang, and ThankGod4Cody. "Love Galore" received widespread acclaim from music critics and a Grammy nomination at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. An alternate version of the song was included on the deluxe edition of Ctrl, released on the fifth anniversary of the album's release on June 9, 2022, which features an additional verse from SZA that replaces Scott's verse.

American singer-songwriter SZA has released two studio albums, three extended plays (EPs), one live album, and 45 singles. SZA debuted with her self-released EP See.SZA.Run in 2012, followed by the 2013 EP S, gaining the attention of the independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment. She signed to Top Dawg as the label's first woman artist in 2013 and released her third EP, Z, a year later. After Z, she began work on her debut studio album, Ctrl (2017), which debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200, peaked at number two on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and has charted for more than five subsequent years. The album, alongside its Billboard Hot 100 top-40 singles "Love Galore" and "The Weekend", earned her three of her first five Grammy nominations, in 2018. All singles from Ctrl have been certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America.

"Broken Clocks" is a song by the American singer SZA. The song was originally released as the first promotional single on June 2, 2017, from her debut studio album, Ctrl. It was later sent to urban contemporary radio as the album's fourth single on January 9, 2018. "Broken Clocks" was written by SZA and producer ThankGod4Cody. It samples "West", which was written by River Tiber, Frank Dukes, and Daniel Caesar and performed by the former. SZA performed the song at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

The album features production from numerous producers, including Devin Malik, Hollywood Cole, J. Lbs and Kenny Beats, among others. Guest appearances include frequent collaborators and labelmates Jay Rock and SZA, as well as Lil Uzi Vert, Duke Deuce, Smino, Amindi, 6lack, and others.
