Janne Artturi Heikkinen (born May 16,1990 in Oulu) is a Finnish politician and a member of the Parliament of Finland (MP). [1] He got elected with 4124 personal votes from Oulu. [2]
Heikkinen joined the National Coalition Party in 2008 and was first elected to the Kempele City Council in the 2008 Finnish municipal elections and to the Parliament of Finland in 2019 Finnish parliamentary election. [3] In 2019 he received a Master's degree from the University of Jyväskylä. [1]
Heikkinen is member in the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee and Agriculture and Forestry Committee. [4]
The Parliament of Finland is the unicameral and supreme legislature of Finland,founded on 9 May 1906. In accordance with the Constitution of Finland,sovereignty belongs to the people,and that power is vested in the Parliament. The Parliament consists of 200 members,199 of whom are elected every four years from 13 multi-member districts electing 6 to 37 members using the proportional D'Hondt method. Mats Löfström is a Finnish politician representing Åland Centre. Löfström is the single member of parliament for the autonomous region of Åland in the Parliament of Finland. Löfström was elected,replacing Elisabeth Nauclér as the single representative of Åland in the Finnish Parliament. Löfström was re-elected in 2019 and 2023.

The district was established in 2013 by the merger of North Karelia and North Savo districts. It is conterminous with the regions of North Karelia and North Savo. The Centre Party,which had been the largest party following the 2015 elections,dropped to fourth place,losing 18 seats and recording its lowest vote share since 1917. The Social Democratic Party saw the biggest gains,winning six more seats and narrowly becoming the largest party for the first time since 1999. The Green League and the Left Alliance also gained five and four seats respectively.
