Jeffrey Dean Mittie (born June 24, 1966) [1] is the current head coach of the Kansas State University women's basketball team. [2]
Prior to joining the Wildcats, he was the head coach of TCU Horned Frogs women's basketball team.
He is the all-time wins leader at TCU with 303 wins.

Roy Allen Williams is an American retired college basketball coach who served as the men's head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels for 18 seasons and the Kansas Jayhawks for 15 seasons. He was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
The Kansas State Wildcats are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Kansas State University. The official color of the teams is Royal Purple; white and silver are generally used as complementary colors.
Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, formerly known as Daniel–Meyer Coliseum, is a basketball arena located on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The arena is part of the Daniel-Meyer Athletics Complex and sits between Amon G. Carter Stadium and Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. The arena is home to the TCU Horned Frogs Men's and Women's basketball teams. It was built in 1961 and originally named after former TCU football and basketball coach Dutch Meyer and former TCU board member Milton Daniel. As part of the 2015 renovation, the facility was renamed for lead donors Ed & Rae Schollmaier. The facility currently seats 8,500 people.
Sonny Jack Cumbie is an American football coach and former quarterback. He is the head football coach at Louisiana Tech University, a position he has held since the 2022 season. Cumbie previously served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Tech University and was the interim head coach after the departure of Matt Wells in 2021. He also served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Christian University (TCU). Cumbie played college football at Texas Tech and was the team's starting quarterback during the 2004 season, when he led the nation in passing and total offense and a guided the Red Raiders to win in the 2004 Holiday Bowl, earning MVP honors for the game. Cumbie played professionally in the Arena Football League (AFL), the Indoor Football League (IFL), and briefly in the National Football League (NFL).
The TCU Horned Frogs are the athletic teams that represent Texas Christian University. The 18 varsity teams participate in NCAA Division I and in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for football, competing mostly in the Big 12 Conference. The school was a founding member of the Southwest Conference and was a member of the Western Athletic Conference, Conference USA (CUSA), and the Mountain West Conference before joining the Big 12. Two TCU teams participate outside the Big 12 in sports not sponsored by that conference. The rifle team competes in the Patriot Rifle Conference, and the beach volleyball team moved to CUSA for 2023–24 after having been in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association.

Daniel "Sonny" Dykes is an American football coach, and a former college baseball player. He is currently the head football coach at Texas Christian University (TCU), and previously served in the same role at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2018 to 2021, the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2016, and Louisiana Tech University from 2010 to 2012. In his first season at TCU, he led the Horned Frogs to a win in the semifinal and an appearance in the National Championship game.

Since 2016, the Horned Frogs have been led by TCU Lettermen's Hall of Fame member, head coach Jamie Dixon. The 2013–14 TCU Horned Frogs basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. This is head coach Jeff Mittie's fifteenth season at TCU. They played their home games at Daniel–Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas and were members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season with a record of 18–15 overall, 8–10 in Big 12 play for a finish in seventh place. They lost in the quarterfinals in the 2014 Big 12 Conference women's basketball tournament to West Virginia. They were invited to the 2014 Women's National Invitation Tournament, where they lost in the first round to Colorado.

The 2015–16 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, led by head coach Trent Johnson in his fourth and final season at TCU. The Horned Frogs were members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at Schollmaier Arena, which reopened in December after a $72 million upgrade. Some early season, non-conference games were played in the TCU University Recreation Center and the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center while construction on Schollmaier Arena was completed. The Horned Frogs finished the season 12–21, 2–16 in Big 12 play to finish in last place. They defeated Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to West Virginia.

They finished the season 19–13, 8–10 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 women's tournament to West Virginia. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA women's tournament, where they defeated George Washington in the first round before losing to South Carolina in the second round.

They finished the season 23–11, 11–7 in Big 12 play to finish in fourth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 women's tournament, where they lost to Baylor. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA women's tournament, where they defeated Drake in the first round before losing to Stanford in the second round.

The Horned Frogs competed as members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. They finished the season 21–12, 9–9 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament to Kansas State. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, their first appearance in 20 years. Seeded No. 6 in the Midwest region, TCU lost in the first round to Syracuse.

They finished the season 18–16, 7–11 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big 12 women's tournament, where they lost to Baylor. They received an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament, where they defeated Saint Louis and Utah in the first and second rounds before losing to UC Davis in the third round.
Fran Garmon is an American basketball coach. Her collegiate heading coaching career included position at Temple Junior College, Delta State, and Texas Christian University. She was active in the USA Basketball, serving as head coach of the gold medal winning World University Games team in 1979 and the Pan American Games team in 1983. She also held leadership positions with the US national team. Garmon was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000.
Shell Dailey is a basketball coach at IMG Academy. Before joining IMG, Dailey played on the Texas Longhorns women's basketball team during the 1980s before working in retail from 1986 to 1992. Dailey began her basketball coaching career with the TCU Horned Frogs women's basketball in 1992 as an assistant coach. After her promotion to head coach in 1993, her team competed at the Southwest Conference women's basketball tournament three times. Dailey had 8 wins and 72 losses with TCU before being replaced by Mike Petersen in 1996.
Johnny Ray Swaim was an NCAA Division I head basketball coach from 1967 to 1977. He attended high school in Graham, Texas, where he lettered in four sports: basketball, baseball, football, and track. He was recruited by several Texas universities, but chose to attend Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas on a full four year basketball scholarship. While at TCU Swaim was a part of five Southwest Conference Championships as a player and coach and led his team to two NCAA Division I Men's Basketball tournaments. In 1968 and 1970 he was voted the Southwest Conference Coach of the Year. In 1975, he was named to TCU's 60-year All-time Basketball Team, and in 1983, he was inducted into the TCU Letterman's Hall of Fame.
