Michelle Clark-Heard (born July 27, 1968) [1] is the head coach for the Mercer Bears women's basketball team. [2] [3] [4]
In her first year at Western Kentucky University her team posted a 22–11 record, after going 9–21 the season prior to her arrival.
In 2018 the University of Cincinnati hired her as the head coach for the Cincinnati women's basketball team. In her first season, she led the team to more than 20 wins for the first time since 2003 and at least 12 conference wins for the first time since 1999. [5]
On March 7, 2023, she was fired as the head coach of the Cincinnati women's basketball team. She finishes with an overall record of 74–74 and a conference record of 35–46. [6]
On May 17, 2023, Mississippi State University announced that she was hired as the Assistant Athletic Director for Women's Basketball. [7]

Semeka Chantay Randall-Lay is the current head coach for the Winthrop Eagles women's basketball team. She is also a former collegiate and professional basketball player. She was hired as recruiting coordinator at Wright State in June 2016 after serving as the head coach of the Alabama A&M University women's basketball team for three years. Randall was also head coach of the Ohio Bobcats, from 2008 to 2013. She previously served as an assistant coach of the women's basketball teams at West Virginia University, Michigan State University, and Cleveland State University.

He is a member of the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame.
Nell Fortner is the current women's college basketball coach at Georgia Tech. She is most well known for leading the 2000 Olympics team to a gold medal. She has received numerous awards including the 1997 National Coach of the Year, the 2000 USA Basketball Coach of the Year and the 2008 SEC Coach of the Year. In April 2018, she was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.

Cristy McKinney is an American former women's basketball coach. She found most success as the head coach at Rice University from 1993 to 2005, posting a 216–138 record and winning two Western Athletic Conference Tournament championships. She also appeared in four Women's National Invitation Tournaments and two NCAA Tournaments. McKinney was inducted into Rice's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013, and she remains the school's winningest coach.
The Mercer Bears are the athletic teams of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, United States. Adele Cecilia "Ceal" Barry is an American retired basketball player and coach. She was head women's basketball coach at the University of Cincinnati from 1979 to 1983 and University of Colorado Boulder from 1983 to 2005. Barry was also a longtime college athletics administrator, having been associate athletic director and senior woman administrator at Colorado from 2005 to 2020 and interim athletic director at Colorado in 2013. She was inducted into the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame in 1997 and into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.

The 2017–18 Western Kentucky Lady Toppers basketball team represents Western Kentucky University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Toppers are led by fifth year head coach Michelle Clark-Heard. They play their home games at E. A. Diddle Arena and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 24–9, 12–4 in C-USA play to finish in second place. They won the Conference USA Tournament for the 2nd year in a row and earns an automatic bid to the NCAA women's basketball tournament where they were defeated by Oregon State in the first round.

Hilda M. Hankerson is an American high school girls basketball coach. She is the head coach for the Westlake High School (Georgia) Lions girls basketball team where she won one National Championship and four Georgia State High School girls basketball Championships. She played for the Mercer Bears women's basketball team alongside of Hall of Famers Cindy Brogdon and Sybil Blalock from 1974 to 1978. Hankerson was also an assistant coach for the Mississippi State Bulldogs women's basketball team. In 2020, she won the USA Today 2020 Girls High School Basketball Coach of the Year.
