Michael Frater O.D is a Jamaican retired sprinter who specialised in the 100 metres event. He won a silver medal at the 2005 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games for the event.

Kerron Stewart is a retired Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 100 metres and 200 metres. She is the 2008 Jamaican national champion in the 100 m clocking 10.80s. She defeated World Champion Veronica Campbell-Brown in the process and now is the 2008 Summer Olympics silver medalist after she tied with Sherone Simpson in a time of 10.98s. She also earned a bronze medal in the 200 metres at the 2008 Summer Olympics with a time of 22.00s. She was born in Kingston and retired after the 2018 season.
Aaron Monroe "Mac" McCreary was an American football, basketball, and baseball player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Tempe State Teachers College—known at Arizona State Teachers College by 1929 and now called Arizona State University—compiling a career college football record of 25–17–4. McCreary was also the head basketball coach at Tempe/Arizona State Teachers from 1923 to 1930 and at Arizona State Teacher's College of Flagstaff—now known as Northern Arizona University—amassing a career college basketball record of 140–149. In addition, he coached baseball at Tempe/Arizona State Teachers and at Arizona State Teacher's Flagstaff. McCreary also coached track, skiing, and boxing, and assisted in football at Arizona State Teacher's Flagstaff before retiring in 1963. He is a member of the Northern Arizona University Athletics Hall of Fame.
Grenada competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, held in Beijing, People's Republic of China from 8 to 24 August 2008. Nine athletes represented the country, eight track and field athletes and one boxer. Of the eight track and field competitors, five were women, and three were men. Although none of the athletes would win a medal, runners Allison George and Neisha Bernard-Thomas progressed past the qualification rounds, and participated on behalf of Grenada in the quarterfinals of their events. Grenada's Beijing delegation was their biggest at nine athletes, and marked the seventh consecutive appearance of Grenada at the Olympics.
The CARIFTA Games is an annual athletics competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA). The games was first held in 1972 and consists of track and field events including sprint races, hurdles, middle distance track events, jumping and throwing events, and relays. The Games has two age categories: under-17 and under-20. Only countries associated with CARIFTA may compete in the competition.
Glen Mills OD is a sprinting athletics coach from Jamaica. He was the head coach of the Jamaican Olympic athletics team between 1987 and 2009. He is currently head coach of the Racers Track Club which includes world and Olympic record holder Usain Bolt and the 100-metre World Champion Yohan Blake. Other athletes that he has coached in the past include Kim Collins, and Ray Stewart.
David Neville is an American sprinter who specializes in the 400 meters and two-time medalist in the Summer Olympics. A native of Merrillville, Indiana, Neville became the first individual track and field medalist out of Indiana University since Willie May won silver in the 110-meter hurdles in 1960.
Jehue Gordon is a Trinidadian track and field athlete who specialises in the 400 metres hurdles. He turned professional on 24 June 2010, and signed a deal with Adidas in August 2010.
Juan Lewis is a male track and field athlete from West End, Grand Bahama in The Bahamas, who mainly competes in the 400m and 200 He attended Bishop Michael Eldon School and Sunland Baptist Academy before competing for Southwestern Christian College and the UT Arlington Mavericks. Lewis ran the third leg of the 4 x 400 Relay at the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Andrew Parker is a Jamaican track and field athlete who competed in the 110 metres hurdles. He won the event at the 1987 Pan American Games and represented Jamaica at the 1988 Summer Olympics as well as the 1987 World Championships in Athletics.
Janieve Russell is a Jamaican track and field athlete who competes mainly in the 400 metres hurdles and the 400 metres sprint. She won an Olympic bronze medal in the 4 × 400 m relay in Tokyo 2021, where she also finished fourth in the 400m hurdles final in a personal best of 53.08 secs. She is a four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, winning the 400m hurdles title in 2018 and 2022, and the 4 × 400 m relay in 2014 and 2018. She has also won two relay silvers at the World Championships and a relay gold at the World Indoor Championships.
Candesha Scott is a Grenadian javelin thrower. She became the National Record holder at the discipline at the 2016 Carifta Games with a throw of 51.13m. She Qualified to compete at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland where she failed to qualify for the final of women's javelin. Scott finished 13th overall recording her best throw on the second attempt of her allotted three, throwing 47.86 meters. She has since gained admission into the Central Arizona College.

Kishara George is a retired Grenadian sprinter. On 6 July 2003 at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics she was part of a 4×400 m relay team that placed second to Jamaica but still managed to set a new National Record time of 3:32.99 minutes in the event. On 28 May 2004, this time competing in the 400 m hurdles she was again able to set a national record with a time of 58.37.
Shane Charles is a Grenadian retired athlete who specialized in the 400 metres hurdles. In 2001 he set the junior national record with a time of 53.89. On 14 May 2006 he made a time of 49.51 in the 400 m hurdles, the senior national record in this event. He also set an indoor 800 metres national record with a time of 1:49.59.
Jameson Strachan is a male track and field athlete from Nassau, Bahamas, who mainly competes in the 400m. Strachan attended R.M Bailey High School in Nassau before competing for Dickinson State University and the University of Texas–Pan American.
