Sonia Waddell is a New Zealand athlete. She represented her country at a World Junior Championship in hurdles before becoming a rower, in which sport she was twice an Olympic competitor and where she won silver at a World Rowing Championship. She later competed as a cyclist and won medals at a UCI Para-cycling Track World Championship as a sighted guide.

In 2009, Delayre was part of the French men's lightweight quadruple sculls time at the World Championships. He was also part of the French under-23s men's lightweight quadruple sculls at the 2006 and 2007 Junior World Rowing Championships.

Tina Manker is a German rower. She was junior world champion in 2006, U23 world championship, and world champion in the women's quad sculls elite class at the 2011 World Championships. She finished her rowing career after participating at the 2012 Summer Olympics in double scull. She trained as a teacher in German and English, first at the Humboldt University of Berlin and then at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. After several years teaching at Onslow College, where she also coached the rowing team, she now works for High Performance Sport New Zealand in Cambridge.
Christina Giazitzidou is a Greek rower. She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, in the Women's lightweight double sculls.
Kara Michelle Kohler is an American female crew rower. She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the quadruple sculls event. She also has a World Championship gold medal in the coxless four and a World Championship bronze in the single sculls.
Nataliya Dovhodko is a Ukrainian female crew rower. She won a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the quadruple sculls event with Kateryna Tarasenko, Anastasiya Kozhenkova, and Yana Dementyeva. Dovhodko was recognised the Merited Master of Sports for her 2012 Olympic feat. That year, the team of Dovhodko, Tarasenko, Olga Hurkovska and Dementyeva also won the gold medal at the European Championships.

Bourke only took up rowing when she started university in 2007, at the University of Otago.

She won bronze medal in quadruple sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics, with Maria Springwald, Agnieszka Kobus and Monika Ciaciuch. That was also the team that won silver at the 2016 European Championships and bronze at the 2015 European Championships on home water in Poznan.
Inge Janssen is a Dutch rower. A world champion in the women's four, she was part of the Dutch quadruple sculls that won silver at the 2016 Olympics and competed in the double sculls at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
