Justice Union (Chinese :公義同盟) is a small political group in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

The Democratic Party is a centre-left liberal political party in Hong Kong established in 1994. Chaired by legislator Wu Chi-wai, it is currently the third largest party in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, having seven seats and 37 District Councillors. It is also the largest pro-democracy party in the legislature.

Three members of the group ran in the 2003 District Council election in the Chai Wan area in the Eastern District, and Leung herself ran in a constituency in Ma On Shan of the Sha Tin District. All were defeated.

Chai Wan, formerly known as Sai Wan (西灣), lies at the east end of the urban area of Hong Kong Island next to Shau Kei Wan. The area is administratively part of the Eastern District, and is a mosaic of industrial and residential areas. The population was 186,505 in 2001.

As one of the 9 districts located in the New Territories, it covers the areas of Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Ma On Shan, Fo Tan, Siu Lek Yuen and Ma Liu Shui. The district is the most populous district in Hong Kong, with a population of 659,794 as per 2016 census, having a larger population than many countries or dependencies including Iceland, Macau, Montenegro and Brunei.

The Neo Democrats is a pro-democracy localist political group in Hong Kong composed mainly of former and disenchanted members of the Democratic Party New Territories East branch after the 2012 constitutional reform proposals. It formerly had one seat in the Legislative Council until Gary Fan lost his re-election in the 2016 Legislative Council election. 2007 Hong Kong local elections

The 2007 Hong Kong District Council elections were held on 18 November 2007. Elections were held to all 18 districts of Hong Kong, returned 405 members from directly elected constituencies out of total 534 councils member. A total number of 886 candidates contesting in 364 seats, while 41 seats were uncontested. A total number of 1.4 million voters cast their ballots, consisting 38% of the electorate, significantly lower than the last elections in 2003.

The group wants a self-determination referendum in 2020 with the results effective in 2047, when China's "one country, two systems" promise ends. As of 2016, the convenor of the group is Baggio Leung.
