Kowloon East Community is a localist political group formed in late 2014 in Hong Kong by a group of netizens on the online forum Hong Kong Golden Forum who were inspired by 2014 Occupy protests. It focuses on livelihood issues in Kwun Tong District and won a seat in the 2015 Hong Kong district council elections. [1]

Choy So-yuk,BBS,JP is a Hong Kong politician. She was an elected member of Eastern District Council and a Hong Kong Deputy of the National People’s Congress. From 1997 to 2008 she was a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong and its forerunner. Choy is a member of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) and her main supporters are pro-Beijing politicians and organisations,especially the Fujianese in North Point on Hong Kong Island.

Roy Kwong Chun-yu is a Hong Kong politician and novelist. He is a member of the Democratic Party and former member of the Yuen Long District Council for Pek Long. He became a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong in 2016 through the District Council (Second) "super seat". Kwong resigned along with 14 other remaining pro-democracy legislators from the Legislative Council on 11 November 2020,after the central government had unseated four of pro-democracy legislators the same day.
Tin Shui Wai New Force is a localist political group in Hong Kong established in late 2014 by a group of young people who had participated in the Umbrella Revolution. It claims to cater to the livelihood issues in Tin Shui Wai district.
The 2019 Hong Kong District Council elections were held on 24 November 2019 for all 18 District Councils of Hong Kong. 452 seats from all directly elected constituencies,out of the 479 seats in total,were contested. Nearly three million people voted,equivalent to 71 per cent of registered voters,an unprecedented turnout in the electoral history of Hong Kong. The election was widely viewed as a de facto referendum on the concurrent anti-extradition protests.

He is currently the convenor of the district-based Kowloon East Community,which commands one seat in the District Councils.
Ventus Lau Wing-hong is a Hong Kong politician. He is the convenor of the Shatin Community Network and the founding convenor of the Community Network Union,an alliance of the localist community groups in different districts. He came to media attention in the 2018 New Territories East by-election and his candidacy was disqualified by the returning officer for his previous pro-Hong Kong independence stance. For his participation in the 2020 Hong Kong pro-democracy primaries he was part of a mass arrest on national security charges in January 2021 and remains in jail as of October 2021.
Ting Tsz-yuen is a Hong Kong pro-democracy politician and a former member of the Sha Tin District Council for Kam Ying. A former Frontier and Democratic Party member,Ting is also a current convenor of the local political group Community Sha Tin and the deputy convenor of the Community Alliance. Mr Ting born in Hong Kong,and his ancestral hometown is Dongguan city( 東莞市),Guangdong province.

Inspired by the Umbrella Revolution,the group contested in the 2015 District Council election but failed to win any seats. It won two seats in a historic pro-democracy landslide in 2019 District Council election.
Cheung Sha Wan Community Establishment Power was a local political group based in Cheung Sha Wan of Sham Shui Po District founded in 2015. Inspired by the Umbrella Revolution,the group contested in the 2015 District Council election but failed to win any seats. It won one seat in a historic pro-democracy landslide in 2019 District Council election,occupied by its convenor Leos Lee Man-ho.
Chow Wing Kan(Ken) (born October 26,1966),was a member of the Hong Kong Progressive Alliance and the Liberal Party,and is currently a political figure of the Hong Kong Pro-Beijing camp. He has been working in the district of Tin Shui Wai,Yuen Long District for many years. He has served as a member of the Yuen Long District Council since October 1994 and has been re-elected five times until his re-election failed in 2019.
Henry Wong Pak-yu is a Hong Kong politician and social activist. He is the spokesman of the local community group Tin Shui Wai New Force and also a member of the Information Technology subsector in the Election Committee. In 2019,he won in the District Council election and became a member the Yuen Long District Council for Tin Heng.
