KFLR-FM (90.3 MHz) is the Phoenix-area affiliate of Arizona-based Family Life Radio. It airs a Contemporary Christian radio format with some talk and teaching programs. Family Life Radio, launched in 1966, has studios on North Oracle Road in Tucson. It is heard on 36 radio stations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. Family Life Radio is not to be confused with Tennessee-based Family Radio.
KFLR-FM is a Class C station. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations. Its transmitter tower is on TV Road in South Mountain Park and Reservation in Phoenix. [2]
