History

Kamalanagar College was established in the year 1992. Kamalanagar College was declared as Deficit college on 1 January 2007. Kamalanagar college was recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under 2 (f) and 12 (B) on 30 July 2010. Permanent Affiliation was granted by Mizoram University on 30 July 2009 (No.MZU//CDC/1/19/09/380, dated 30 July 2009). The Government of Mizoram Provincialised Kamalanagar College to purely Government College on 19 September 2013

Chakma Autonomous District Council

The Chakma Autonomous District Council is an autonomous council for the Chakma people living in the south-western part of Mizoram, India. The Chakma people has been demanding to change the status of the Chakma Autonomous District Council into a Union territory under the name Chakmaland.

Education in Mizoram
