Kand-e Tatar (Persian : کند تاتار‎, also Romanized as Kand-e Tātār and Kand Tātār; also known as Chashmeh Thāthār, Chashmeh-ye Tāteh, Cheshmeh Tātā, Cheshmeh Tātār (Persian: چشمه تاتار), Cheshmeh-ye Tāteh, and Kand Tātā)^[1] is a village in Shivanat Rural District, Afshar District, Khodabandeh County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 78, in 20 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Shivanat Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Afshar District, Khodabandeh County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,963, in 1,919 families. The rural district has 29 villages.

Afshar District is a district (bakhsh) in Khodabandeh County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,304, in 3,545 families. The District has one city: Garmab. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Qeshlaqat-e Afshar Rural District and Shivanat Rural District.
