Qarah Gol (Persian : قره گل‎, also Romanized as Qareh Gol; also known as Karakul and Qara Kūl)^[1] is a village in Aq Bolagh Rural District, Sojas Rud District, Khodabandeh County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 184, in 31 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Aq Bolagh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Sojas Rud District, Khodabandeh County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,996, in 1,226 families. The rural district has 18 villages.
