The Kansas City Southern Depot, now the Museum of West Louisiana, is a former railway station in Leesville, Louisiana. It was built by the Kansas City Southern Railway in 1916. [2] It served as a combination of passenger station, freight station, and crew change point. [3] The station was a busy shipping point during the Vernon Parish lumber boom in the early part of the 1900s. A local KCS train served the station into the 1960s. [4]
The building was donated to Vernon Parish on May 20, 1982. [5] The station was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1984. It was converted into a museum.

Butler is a former commuter railroad train station in the borough of Butler, Morris County, New Jersey. Serving passenger and freight trains of the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway, Butler served as the western terminus of service beginning in 1941, when passenger service was cut from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Trains from Butler operated to Pavonia Terminal in Jersey City until December 12, 1958 and then Susquehanna Transfer in North Bergen until the discontinuation of service on June 30, 1966. Built in 1914, the depot is the only surviving building connected to the railroad in Zwolle. The railroad was built through the Zwolle area in 1896, and the town was founded shortly thereafter; the 1914 depot was a replacement for the town's original station. The railway station was an important shipping center for the town's lumber industry; lumber was Sabine Parish's chief export from the early 1900s through the 1940s, and the railroad made Zwolle one of the two main milling towns in the parish.

The depot was built in 1929 to replace the original depot, which opened in 1896 when the railroad was completed through the town. The Spanish Colonial Revival building features arched parapets atop projecting walls and corner piers with curved decorative pieces on top. Many's economy and municipal government were revitalized by the railway's completion, and the station brought both passengers and freight to and from the town. The local lumber industry, the chief export of Sabine Parish, shipped its products out through the station, and a small business district grew around the station.
The Wheaton Depot is a former train station in Wheaton, Minnesota, United States, built circa 1906 to handle both passengers and freight. It was built by the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad to replace an 1885 depot that had burned down, and remained in service until 1976. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 as the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Depot for having local significance in the themes of architecture and transportation. It was nominated for being a well-preserved example of an early-20th-century combination depot built on a standard design, and for being the best symbol of the railroad's crucial impact on the community.
Shreveport Union Station was a passenger station on Louisiana Avenue, at Lake Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Built in 1897 by the Kansas City, Shreveport & Gulf Terminal Company, it was the oldest of Shreveport's four passenger railroad stations. With a tall tower, the station became a landmark in downtown Shreveport. It had its highest levels of service in the 1920s, typically hosting 35 passenger trains a day.
