Kawo Koysha is one of the woredas in the South Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia part of the Wolayita Zone. Kawo Koysha is bordered on the south by Offa woreda, on the west by the Kindo Didaye, on the north and east by Kindo Koysha. [1] Kawo Koysha woreda was established in 2019 from the surrounding woredas. [2] The administrative center of this woreda is Lasho Town.

The administrative center of Offa is Gesuba. Western part of Offa was added to Kindo Didaye woreda in 1998 E.C.

It is a Part of the Wolayita Zone located in the Great Rift Valley, Humbo is bordered on the southeast by Abala Abaya, on the south by the Gamo Zone, on the west by Offa, on the north by Sodo Zuria and Bayra Koysha. The administrative center of Humbo is Tebela.

Gamo Zone is a zone in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Gamo is bordered on the south by the Dirashe special woreda, on the southwest by Debub (South) Omo and the Basketo special woreda, on the northwest by Konta special woreda, on the north by Dawro and Wolayita, on the northeast by the Lake Abaya which separates it from the Oromia Region, and on the southeast by the Amaro special woreda. Wolayita or Wolaita is an administrative zone in Ethiopia. It is named for the Welayta people, whose homeland is in the zone. Wolayita is bordered on the south by Gamo Gofa, on the west by the Omo River which separates it from Dawro, on the northwest by Kembata Zone and Tembaro Special Woreda, on the north by Hadiya, on the northeast by the Oromia Region, on the east by the Bilate River which separates it from Sidama Region, and on the south east by the Lake Abaya which separates it from Oromia Region. The administrative centre of Wolayita is Sodo. Other major towns are Areka, Boditi, Tebela, Bele, Gesuba, Gununo, Bedessa and Dimtu.

Boloso Bombe is one of the woredas in the South Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia part of the Wolayita Zone. Boloso Bombe is bordered on the south by Kindo Koysha, on the west by the Dawro Zone, on the north by the Kembata Tembaro Zone, on the east by Boloso Sore, and on the southeast by Damot Sore. The administrative center of this woreda is Bombe, which has a latitude and longitude of 7°08′15.1"N 37° 34'54.1"E.

Damot Sore is a woreda in South Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia. Part of the Wolayita Zone Damot Sore is bordered on the southeast by Sodo Zuria, on the west by Kindo Koysha, on the northwest by Boloso Bombe, and on the north by Boloso Sore. The administrative town of the wereda is Gununo. Damot Sore was separated from Boloso Sore woreda.

Kindo Didaye is bordered on the south by the Gamo Zone, on the west by the Dawro Zone, on the northeast by Kindo Koysha, and on the east by Offa and Kawo Koysha woredas. Kindo Didaye was separated from Offa woreda and Kindo Koysha woreda in 1998 E.C.

Gununo is located 345 km far from Addis Ababa which is the capital city of Ethiopia, and 17 km away from the capital of Wolaita Zone which is Sodo. The other districts situated near to Gununo are; on the South by Sodo Zuria, on the North West by Boloso Bombe, on the West by Kindo Koysha, and on the East by Boloso Sore. The coordinate point of Gununo city is 6°55'21"N 37°38'57"E.

Bayra Koysha is the woredas in Wolayita Zone of the South Ethiopia Regional State in Ethiopia. Bayra Koysha was established in 2019 from the other surrounding woredas. Bayra Koysha is bordered by Sodo Zuria on east, Damot Sore on north, Kawo Koysha on west and on south Humbo woredas. The administrative town of this woreda is Beklo Segno.

Wamura is a town in Wolayita Zone of the South Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia. The town is found in western part of Kawo Koysha woreda. Wamura is one of municipal administrations in Kawo Koysha woreda. The town has different infrastructures and governmental service centers such as electricity, pure public water, primary and high schools, postal service, telecommunications services, health care institutions and others. Wamura is located in the West of Wolaita Sodo via Sodo-Beklo Segno-Lasho road on the way to Halale.
