Khasadan-e Sofla (Persian : خسادان سفلي‎, also Romanized as Khasādān-e Soflá; also known as Khasādān-e Pā’īn and Khasāden-e Pā’īn)^[1] is a village in Machian Rural District, Kelachay District, Rudsar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 163, in 36 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Machian Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Kelachay District, Rudsar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,917, in 2,210 families. The rural district has 43 villages.

Kelachay District is a district (bakhsh) in Rudsar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 34,268, in 9,878 families. The District has two cities: Kelachay and Vajargah. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Bibalan Rural District and Machian Rural District.
