Mian Poshteh (Persian : ميان پشته‎, also Romanized as Mīān Poshteh)^[1] is a village in Chini Jan Rural District, in the Central District of Rudsar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 245, in 73 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chini Jan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Rudsar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,653, in 3,371 families. The rural district has 20 villages.
